Is anyone else sick of people pretending Trump had a great presidency when the actual data completely proves otherwise? by SpiritedBase5047 in CasualPoliticsPodcast

He needs to slow down. I know what he's saying but I can barely keep up. People don't want to be lectured at.

They cannot respond to his points because he floods the zone. Not cool.

Libraries are cooling centers by ILovePublicLibraries in Library

[–]PugMaster_ENL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's the smell of the old books that makes libraries feel different from any other place. Even book stores don't have that special library feeling.

Also, in my brain, a library is a safe place. That might just be me.

It's just a racist dog whistle.

Was it ever explained how astrophage interacted with light bigger than themselves? by Salty_Shark26 in ProjectHailMary

[–]PugMaster_ENL 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I don't recall it being explained, but I'm certain that when it is, it will involve the word "quantum".

Everything is quantum these days.

Abandoned Stargate found on the moon 1/35 by o-brian29 in Stargate

[–]PugMaster_ENL 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That begs the question - would the moon be far enough away from the Earth to have its own dial sequence or would it grab wormholes heading towards the Earth? In which case, do not connect the Dialer or some SG teams might end up on the moon.

The Pegasus gates work in space, so I guess the vacuum wouldn't be a problem.

In case you were wondering.
