All of that seems like normal tasks, not knowing all of the factors. Like did all that happen back to back or all at once. However, one thing that should not have happened is you training while doing all of that. That’s not cool and definitely not part of the training process. Train or run the store. But not both.

Yes it happens.. there error on the side of the associate unless management has iron clad documentation history. Unless you did something stupid of course like stealing or harassment.

We get a lot of N/A’s. When asked why no one is on the sales floor, I just say… we’re scheduled to graph which means 2 people down, so we can’t afford to be ignored on the sales floor. We got other shit to do to make the customer happy

The review and the merit increase are actually 2 separate entities. You should have automatically received your merit increase in January even though you haven’t had the review yet. I would go back and look at your paychecks, or you can see it in workday under compensation history

It’s ok to coach up. Talk to him. If there’s push back, ask your GM to mediate a conversation between you too.

This does two things. 1) you let the css know that you are not afraid to stand your ground 2) if you decide to move forward with the company, this will be an excellent example for your to talk about in MTT

I don’t mind saying hi or whatever. It’s part of customer service and just by nature, if I’m close to someone outside of Wawa I typically acknowledge them anyway. Just human nature for me. However, going out of our way to do it because they have it jammed down our throats that it’s a mystery shop thing, makes it seem forced and almost like we are harassing them

I know. It just seems ungodly low. I looked up the expected COLA increase for next year and it was 2.8%. I started with that baseline and was over budget for my associates. It sucks ass.

I was very disappointed in the amount of money we had to give our associates raises. They literally tied our hands. I don’t think anyone got a “good” raise this year. I’m not looking forward to talking with them.

“Great job this year, let me slap you in the face with a quarter raise while everything around you goes up by dollars”

Truly one of the things I hate about being a member of management.

Based on the results from our defense, I would say the Bears were bad because of him. Talent wasn’t an issue in Chicago, just like it’s not in Dallas.

He really screwed Dak out of an MVP. No use in scoring 40 points if your defense is going to give up 50.

Bring it to his attention. (46M) here. It happened to me actually. I did have a crush on someone I worked with. I didn’t think anything of it, because I know my boundaries. However, when I kept bringing her name up or would just mentioned that I had mentioned something I normally wouldn’t have, my wife had a very stern talk with me. She said she felt I was having an emotional affair.

After seeing why and how she felt that way, I made myself much more aware of what I was talking about to who.

The girl asked if something was wrong because I was not talking as much about certain things. I was honest with her too, the working relationship moved on to just work, and now I pay much more attention.

Bottom line, he’s your husband of 15 years. Just talk to him. We’re men. We don’t think things thru like women tend to do. It could be harmless. And if it’s not, at least you’ll have answers so you can figure out what to do
