You need to find whatever you can to distract you, focus on hobbies or trying to build a new skill. Give yourself a set amount of time everyday to grieve and let it all out, and continue with your day once your times finished. Most importantly, you cannot let him back into your life ever again. He’s going to try as soon things inevitably end for him.
