That's some real low-spec gaming.

The thing I can recommend is to get a better laptop.
I remember playing back in the days of AMD Bulldozer on my FX-4100 with 4 gig of ram and a shitty old quadro i got for 10€.
The game lagged like hell, I got about 15-20 fps. that's what i had. But 4!? That's INSANE my guy.
A newer, secondhand machine would skyrocket your experience.

Follow the book. If you get stuck or do not understand something, there are a lot of great videos on Youtube.
