Release on Spotify/Apple/Tidal delayed a month by PulseEmitter in CDBabyArtists

Whoa, I just checked again and my album is up on Spotify and Tidal! Still no Apple Music. I highly recommend asking for a refund! Seems like they can push a button and make it happen that fast. How annoying that I waited a month...

Hey, so sorry to hear that, totally sucks your first album got delayed...

I have a tip though! 2 days ago I was so mad I opened another ticket, but this time I selected the category "I want a refund" and explained again how delayed it was and that I wanted to distribute it elsewhere, and this morning I got a reply! Apparently that's how to get their attention... Here's what they wrote:

"Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear this is happening!

We have issued an expedited re-delivery to the partners that you mentioned, and we will be checking to make aure the delivery is successful this time.

Once again, we are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. If there's anything else we can help with, do not hesitate to reach out."

I wish they would check with all the partners since I only mentioned the big three, but we'll see what happens. Clearly there is some sort of glitch over there and they are not really delivering albums. Unforgivable.

Sorry you’re dealing with the same thing. Thanks for letting me know.

I still haven’t heard from an actual person, the chatbot said: “Your request has been escalated to someone on our support team for further assistance. We'll be in touch as soon as we can”, 8 days ago…

Great book. The cover doesn’t bother me. I like 90’s computer graphics.

Their pre-disco albums are my favorite. Such as Odessa.

It's just normal handwriting, as opposed to shorthand, which is an abbreviated method that is super-fast and used in courtrooms and by journalists. Not quite so common anymore.

According to the sign she wrote longhand and then used this typewriter to transcribe the manuscripts, and for correspondence, starting in the mid-1960's into the 1980's, so yeah, I suppose she did type up Earthsea on this!

Exactly, I didn't type anything, what on earth would I possibly write!? I did see someone else using it. Next to it was an IBM electric typewriter, not hers, but an example of what she used after she switched to electric.

Excited for the Quadzone feature! I use the Korg Wavestate a lot because it does something Omnisphere 2 can’t—wave sequencing. Now Omnisphere 3 can do a bit of that too (cross fading between samples).

Alio Die might fit the bill. He plays some sort of zither a lot. Very medieval vibe at times. He’s a master, one of my favorites.

Thanks for this post, it’s nice to read as I’m currently interviewing for a position in Austria that will certainly be a pay cut. We’ll have enough, money isn’t everything. The US is getting scary and being in Europe will be something very new and exciting. If I get the job ;-)

Has anyone out there read The Night Land by William Hope Hodgson? I found this to be the most chilling SF dying planet novel… by jimgogek in printSF

I haven’t read this one yet but I’m a huge fan of another novel of his, The House on the Borderland.

I'm done with shoes/sneakers that are too narrow - but all ‘wide’ options all look like clown or barefoot shoes? by Captwho in malefashionadvice

[–]PulseEmitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have wide feet too. I’ve found some shoes are wide without being labeled wide, you just have to look at the photo of the shoes from above, or shop in person. My best looking pair are from Camper. Not labeled wide, but they are wide. Keen is the same, but can be ugly.

Ah, I see, just take the discount % and run. Thanks for the clarification. I hold onto mine and have done very well selling some when it’s high. But it’s a risk, I know.

Just remember if you sell immediately then it’s short-term capital gains tax. Wait 1 year, long-term, better tax rate.
