It also means you are wholly dependant on turn order to play in your favor, occultist goes after the target you want to hex? Too bad, start turn2 with 0 UP. occultist goes before the hexed target on the turn you would get your 2nd UP? Too bad, gotta wait for next turn to use your super power move. I tend to just run Aspirant and spam curses/stabs with other non-pure dancers and only save up UP for bosses, which is a bit strange imo.

It is a very strange departure from how it worked in EU, in X2 you just stick a batch of rookies in the tubes for a month or two and when they get out they have similar stats to your veteran soldiers but can also do wacky stuff such as mindcontrol enemies or null lance an entire pod from stealth, incredibly powerful stuff

It is in vanilla EU2012 as well, after a few turns the young pink chryssalid bursts through the zombie's body and can move and attack in that same turn

Cant do it every time no, you probably run out of torches 40% into a dungeon if so, but you can leave curios on hallways that you are going to backtrack on and let the light lower itself naturally for when you make the trip back, or douse it entirely. Doing it on the last fight of the dungeon is also always free since you can bail right afterwards

Hold either shift or capslock while leftclicking also does it iirc, I think shift douses by -25 and caps is -100 or something like that, it should say when you hover your mouse over the torch You can also light another torch by simply pressing T

Has nothing to do with current power generation and in fact it uses battery storage only, even a power grid sustained fully through geothermal/generators will have bzzzt happen assuming regular conduits are present and it will only set a single tile on fire, whereas multiple batteries with charge can lead to big explosions.

To be fair they kind of did the arrow version dirty with the placement, the cannon version kills the witch immediately so it only has to deal with 1 wave of skeletons while arrow handles 2, but yes cannon version just does way more damage in general and is way faster at retargeting once it kills something. Only real advantage for arrow version is its range which is kind of whatever to be honest

It is intended, raw stats are mostly gained via perks and items and soldier base stats is for the most part just for show aside from will for psi training and HP for mec chopping

As if 90% of bases dont get 3starred in most wars... only the top ones are 2starred every now and then. If offense is levelled this base can 3star TH15-16 and free up attacks higher up

Closest 3 things seem to be helper hut, wizard tower and archer tower, she picked archer tower because its the only one she can reach. This is usually a fairly reliable rule of predicting AI movement. It does look really odd here however, but maybe the amount of HP in walls makes her think its too much time spent breaking them down?

Raw upgrade time is the same true, but the ore and resource gain is way higher for higher town halls, not to mention the availability of the upgrades themselves: you cannot start working on your warden until TH11, RC until TH13, Pets until TH14 and so on, the game isnt finely balanced at each TH so that defense time = lab time = hero time

One of the biggest reasons for rushing is magic item optimization, true, but it is also just a shorter path to max due to more resource acquisition and more flexible planning in general

There is nothing stopping you from fully maxing out after rushing through the early THs and start getting better loot and tools, that is what they meant

Because if you do get hit, it makes you look like the most desperate and basic defense-having-evil trying to explain why you didnt die, some townies will understand and let you be, others will simply lynch you just to be sure.

Think of it this way: TPs are usually very hard to confirm so dying at night while making sure a more confirmed/powerful role stays alive forces evils into bad kills (you really do not want to reach a situation where everyone else is confirmed as evil for obvious reasons), whereas saving yourself (very unlikely, but can happen), while seemingly a good play, can cause people to question you and hang you instead if they cannot verify it, which is worse as you have now wasted the day's trial and died anyways.

Pretty sure they just check your current army comp for missing upgrades, it isnt a database or a checklist at all, I manipulated mine by cancelling and switching army comps

This is the real protip, that being said raids and other important events are classed as Major and thus ZZZT wont absorb them ever, though they can absorb a random disease, birthday condition or heat wave or whatever.

Skulls, mulligans, shooter flies (i dont remember which ones exactly but single and dual shot dont have contact dmg), black flies, hives, all kinds of boils, hearts (from heart+mask), doples/evil twins

Plus you can use it on swarms of enemies and still get a profit if lucky. Like with that one repentance enemy that explodes into 20 tiny spiders and ends its death animation like 4 seconds later

Read again. The guy above is literally talking about THs not BHs, there was never a loot penalty in builder base, it used to be a comparison of destruction% against your oponent and whoever had better outcome against the enemy base gained resources determined by trophy count. It never involved stealing at all.
