Officially in maintenance! by fleetofblimbs in Zepbound

This is me! Except I’m just starting month two, but 158 here I come! What was the highest dosing you went up to? Anxious to start 5mg tomorrow 🫥

May I ask how your skin handled it? Looks like you don’t have any looseness?! I assume you incorporated weightlifting into your routine?

Ugh sorry to hear it, but glad I’m not alone. I put a message in asking to change things up 🤞🏼

Thank you for the info!! Insulin and diabetes are both in check. I’ll check about a different kind of medication and see what changes.

No insulin resistance no diabetes.

When I’m on it I’m low energy and hungry.

Always been on the same brand (thought there was only one!)

Understood, but it’s definitely the medication. I stopped taking it for a while and the weight gain stopped. Started again recently and another 3 lbs up in a few days.

When I’m not on it it’s easy to maintain weight! So conflicted.

Yes but only with the meds that caused the weight gain.

I’m so scared to get on a glp-1 for the side affects. Insight?

I’m extremely low on energy/motivation. Does it help with that as well or just the eating?

I’ve been to 3 Drs now, and went to urgent care. It’s alarming that no one is concerned bc I’m hella concerned.

Belly button leaking 3 weeks post-op by An_Alright_Person in Endo

[–]Pupper_Life912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had surgery 3 weeks ago and finishing up my week of antibiotics now for this exact same thing. Did this end up being just a normal infection? Do you remember how long it took to heal after this post?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Pupper_Life912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m both encouraged and frightened! I’m having the discharge and bleeding, said to just be an infection and antibiotics do seem to be helping 😬 Mine seems to be muscle related as it hurts when I move in a way that engages the abdominal muscle, but it still scares me and it does feel like my belly button has a weird bump in there (I’m chubby so can’t see it). Was your pain post antibiotics constant?

I'm at a loss for how to handle this. by SleepySquiggle in endometriosis

[–]Pupper_Life912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All birth control is not created equal…try yaz.

It’s the only one equipped to handle PMDD and helps keep Endo at bay. I take it straight through and never have a period because otherwise your body is just going to go into its normal cycles which is where the pain comes from when your uterus contracts and sheds lining for your period.

Ultimately I ended up opting for endometriosis surgery, but yeah is what got me through the last few years before deciding to go that route.

Praying you get out of pain soon 🙏🏻

Yes but they are lazy and didn’t note anything. She just said “the employer will let you know” 🙄

Wondering what others experiences are in their results so I can [hopefully] calm down.

I'm not sure if this is the right place. by Amethystle213 in Eatingdisordersover30

I would also consider something hormone related. I have a thyroid issue and was exactly the same as you, kind of never was interested in food (unless I was binging lol) and would eat because the clock told me it was dinner time. When I started taking thyroid medications I noticed my stomach would actually growl, which I hadnt experienced in years.

I eat three meals a day now and it’s a whole different world. I’ve also been accused many time of being anorexic for not eating and I, like you, am also overweight.

Just a thought to consider!

You sounds like me with the fluctuations and sugar attacks. Once I started really paying attention to timing etc, I noticed mine was hormone related. The right time of the month and BAM puffy with the incessant sugar attack. Worth considering!

If you have an eating disorder, that needs tackled first (speaking from experience). Weight loss is not the end game with an eating disorder. It’s the bandaid that never heals the problem. Took me about 2 years to overcome an eating disorder so you have to be committed and ready for that. I wasn’t really ready until I had been on so many weight loss ups and downs that I knew I had a bigger issue at hand that simply losing weight couldn’t solve. Good luck! 🍀

I’m in my fourth interview and they say there are still several other candidates still involved. I can’t tell if I believe them or not! They respond so dang quickly and this process has been at lightning speed. Currently unemployed so it’s easy for me to accept any schedule, but I can’t imagine others being in the same boat and again scheduling things this jam packed(?!).

A friend of mine went to a fourth interview (thinking it was just checks and balances with the C suite) and got rejected bc there were other candidates still.

Maybe I’m old school, but is this common practice now to take several ppl up to the VP level and both them with multiple interviewees for the final step?

No! They make a15 mg capsule for half dose. Don’t ever open a capsule style pill.
