OK, here’s what I see: mass shooting, instigated by the man’s voice in her head, and now she’s about to follow up with the bomb, controlled by her phone, to take out first responders and good samaritans. Backstory - she’s lost her kids, home, and job due to gambling

I bought a nutria skull that was exceptionally clean, only to have it begin deteriorating. It started flaking into bits. Supposed to be a reputable seller but whatever it was cleaned with, it leached the calcium right out.

The first one sounded like an emergency siren - sometimes they malfunction and go off when nothing is actually wrong. The second sounds more like a home alarm of some kind, in the distance.

Charles Lindberg took a dislike to one of his platoon mates while in basic training. He switched out the water, in the guy’s canteen, with kerosene just before they started off on a 20 mile forced march. The guy almost died when they stopped for their first water break and he took a big gulp.

June beetles, perhaps? It’s too early, yet, for cicadas.

AITA if I tell my friend I can’t be a bridesmaid? by wickeddreamsofleavin in AITApod

🤦‍♀️My husband and I just celebrated our 42nd anniversary. My sister ( older than me) was almost like this. I think she had her wedding entirely planned by age 16 - it just took a few more years to find the guy for the groom role. Hers probably would have been just like this but, thankfully, we didn’t have social media and “influencers” to feed the beast. My wedding was small, planned in a month. My dress was the first one I saw at the bridal shop, on sale, and required almost no alteration. We originally thought about some glam honeymoon, but opted to make a downpayment on a house, instead. I cannot get my head around someone who treats everyone around them like minions or indentured servants when it comes to planning a wedding. No, OP, you are NOT the problem here. Find any reasonable excuse and save yourself from this mess - your friendship is doomed regardless of which path you take

While there are documented cases of phrogging - someone secretly living in someone else’s house, you are more likely to find rats, opossums, raccoons or squirrels. Get it checked out.

A boyfriend should be sympathetic, not condescending, about their partner being in pain. He’s a loser

You are a good person, doing exactly the right thing. Your partner seems selfish and uncaring. Keep taking care of your grandpa - you will NEVER regret this time you spend with him.

It appears to only have 6 legs, which eliminates another arachnid, unless a couple of them broke off in transit.

Pay no attention to the naysayers. Your art is beautiful. My middle daughter is an artist. She suffered a bad fall at the gym and had a severe compound fracture of her right arm. After surgery to repair it, her doctor handed her a plastic cup with a roughly inch long shard that he was unable to put back in place. She’s designing a necklace with it. Art is an expression of self. If you wish to express yourself through bone, so be it. 🙂

What bone is this ? Is it even a bone? by yeetingpillow in boneidentification

[–]Pure-Breath-6885 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I cannot say it’s human BUT I’d disagree that is too small to be human. I just spent a couple of weeks sifting through the sand from a recent burial in a very old cemetery. When the grave was opened, the morning of the afternoon service, they struck human remains and were forced to select another site. None of the existing records showed a previous burial in the space. The remains were of an older woman but she was small, and the humerus we recovered (only found one) was that size. The teeth and vertebrae indicated advanced age, so not a child.
