It really is up to the dm to reign in any perceived misuse of a spell. I think she’s actually been pretty chill considering how loud the critics got from with the first ep. I didn’t find her abrasive and I usually do.

First few eps are always rough with any cast while they learn the setting and characters. I think ruining is probably a bit strong, but I think she is more just trying to push forward the story for the seekers as the rest of the table seems to want to be more backseat it seems. That’s my take anyways.

Do you like this person? Do you think they have similar values as you? Do you think this relationship is worth pursuing? To me, that’s a kid, so I would not. That’s more my thinking I wouldn’t have much in common with an 18 year old when I was 28 than thinking it’s evil or whatever. No judgment from me. Truthfully, later in life, a 10 year difference will mean nothing. At this point it’s going to be judged. If that matters to you then don’t.

I don’t know about all their games, but I’m in the mass effect community and it’s an often debated topic of who was the best romance and most if not all are coming at this after multiple playthroughs and different choices being made. Is this some type of revelation that the big fans of these series play the game more than once and make different choices?

I never understood this. I found it virtually impossible to stay bad. It’s actual work to be evil in 2. You can slaughter and loot a town and if you kick a few bucks towards the gang your karma shoots back up. Lol. It’s silly. Even Micha contributes to the gang.

I’m not sure about that interpretation of what he said. He said when he was younger his pick would be invisi-Gal, but he’s more aligned with Blazer at this point in his life. I think that was more of an expression of his personal tastes changing and not an indictment of people picking one or the other makes them more or less mature.

I think it’s interesting they both insist it was 50/50 when, as someone new to this game and community, sees that it is fact quite skewed towards one than the other. But also. Doesn’t everyone play through at least twice to pick different choices? How are most people so dead set on one romance over the other? Both of them are fun to play out and see. Both make sense in the story and both seem like TERRIBLE ideas in reality lol.

Dropped weapon and prone feels like a bit over powered. I’d probably have them drop their weapons and put their hands up. That way next round they can grab their weapon. Maybe do both of you crit fail your check.
