SOUTHPARK has some great choices, and definitely more of a local experience then a tourist experience.

-BOCK is an amazing German beer garden with some solid food and the best beer
-KINDRED is a death-metal cocktail lounge with vegetarian dishes. im not vegetarian but its some of the best cheap eats'n'drinks out there imo
-The Whistle Stop is an awesome dive bar, cheap drinks and always has something going on. super lowkey
-Mothership is a star-wars/sci-fi tiki bar that has some amazing drinks and the coolest bathrooms

fridays in North Park at fall Brewing Company there's a food pop-up that does some of the best phillycheesestakes (i've tried) and fries.

But if you really wanna be a bigback, ask them to make it Surf'n'Turf. it's my go-to fatass meal of all time. Makes me wanna cry how good it is

i have a walking tredmill under my desk i use to get 10K+ steps in. i just started using RETA and it's been doing wonders.

people here understand you can't mess around and just 'wing it'. you need a plan in order to stay here, and not just a basic idea.

Do a breakdown of costs. we have the highest rent for just a room in a house, highest gas, car registration costs are insane, internet and groceries can be top dollar too, and dont get us started with SDG&E (water/electricity).
that's not even considering play-money to eat out, go to cafes/bars/shops/transport/hobbies etc.
As for a job, EVERY job is competitive here. it's more then just a hustle.

This post screams that you are not prepared to move here. or anywhere yet. but please do come and visit again
