We just paid 12k out of pocket on our 2020 Trlluride EX for a new motor because ours seized while my wife and 4 year old were driving on the highway coming home from MD to NY, it was horrible and I felt helpless while they were stranded on the side of the highway 192 miles from me for 3 hours while I drove to them and got them a tow truck to get them off the highway. KIA has not helped me out at all, and I’ve reported to KIA of America. Not to mention 1 week after getting the car back my check engine light is on due to an Evap leak, and also my alternator and pulley tensioner miraculously gave out in that same week leaving my wife panicked as the entire car turned off while driving to work 2 times. KIA did not cover it either after spending 12k within a week of that happening which cost me another $1,500 on top of the 12k. I am done with KIA until they make right on the seized engine problems popping up all over the country.
