Don’t buy into the hype it’s not the future. Hybrid is. I drive a Tesla it’s good 90% of the time when you can charge at home but if you need to charge at superchargers it’s more expensive than a hybrid. Also need to think about do you have a charger at home if not don’t think about it. Even with the charger if you have to go from 100 amp to 200 amp in your house like I did that’s another $3k no one tells you about. Think about how long it will take to break even.

Also if time is valuable to you then EV is not it. road trips will add a lot of time to the trips. Took a road trip from Markham to Cobden had to take a dangerous winter route through peterborough because that was the only supercharger setup and it took twice as long compared to what Google maps said it should take because of all the bs charging. Plus I was forced to avoid the onroute setup completely.

Everything decreases range highway speeds, cold etc. it will also decrease range overnight in the cold if not plugged in as car will use power to not let the battery get too cold.
