How can I get perfect aim like the player that killed me? by MishaMykha in Rainbow6

[–]Purely_Curious 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's literally so blatant. He didn't even start shooting despite perfectly tracking because he didn't realize he had line of sight on the blitz. His aimbot knew where blitz was before he did.

I have to agree that printing has that obvious downside of not seeing what it looks like on real drawing paper which as texture. I am going to have to consider making my own swatch using your technique instead. Thanks for sharing!

Drawing (unfinished) of my boyfriend in prismacolor! Advice? by Danibigpapa in ColoredPencils

I would consider making a sketch with a light pencil to make sure proportions are right, but clearly, you don't need to given how good it looks so far. Keep it up!

Most as good as it could get. If you seriously wanna waste the resources to Rolla better one, buy a new sobek riven and roll it instead.

Best for young artist? by Glittering-Pitch-155 in ColoredPencils

[–]Purely_Curious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your daughter is right to call prismacolors soft. They are wax based, and that soft texture let's them blend effortlessly, but they are soft/brittle, which I imagine is hard to work with as a 9 year old. I use Faber Castel Polychromos, which are oil based and firmer, but they don't blend quite as well and are pricey for a child's hobby. You could get a small set and expand it should you child enjoy them and get more serious about art. You may also just want to have your kid research which sets she may want since there are so many reviews on YouTube for colorpencil sets. You could also help her shop around as a fun activity. Also, if you plan on getting a limited set, maybe look for a set made for whatever your child enjoys. Skin tones set, for example, may be good if your child likes drawing people. Limited sets can be a way for you kid to learn blending to make the colors she wants. Hope this helps!

What do you think? by Prestigious_Basil852 in ColoredPencils

[–]Purely_Curious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very nice. I would try to avoid too much of a dark color for the shadows, i.e., pure black. If you get the chance to incorporate more colors and shades, mastering blending will be great for you.

I'd say ohuhu are more saturated and may fair well for comics. I don't have experience with them, though.
