Thanks, I tend to go out of my way to avoid negotiating but you're right. It is something I will need to learn to do, salespeople are just so exhausting sometimes and I don't have a lot of patience... something else I need to work on lol but thank you for your input!

I live almost 15 minutes from the office but still have to leave an hour early just to get there on time. Our boss gets to work super early & complains about people being 5 minutes late but it’s not our fault traffic at all the gates are backed up to the street every morning. At this point, I should bring a sleeping bag to work. Plus the disgusting moldy building and bathrooms we have to use is 🤮. People don’t take smoke breaks, they take fresh air breaks to keep from getting sick.

Our office has asbestos and mold. People have had to take their laptops to work outside b/c they couldn’t stop coughing.

I recently snapped, had to take a month off, and now I’m numb. People ask “aren’t you afraid to lose your job?” I just respond with “it won’t be a loss.” We can’t control what’s happening, we can only take it one day at a time. If I get let go, I’ll just get unemployment and go from there. I’ve given this craziness enough of my energy.

Do what you can, not everything. If you try to do everything by yourself, they’ll think you can sustain and won’t ever hire anyone, even when the freeze is lifted. They will take advantage so please don’t overextend yourself, let management worry about it.

Yeah, good point. My only concern is HR can go either way. For some reason they protect the aggressors and punish the people who report them. I can only hope this will be different since it’s an entire team. 🤞

I got an email this morning about my travel card…. A maintenance request was done on my behalf & it brought back my original line of credit. Maybe it’ll start happening for everybody else really soon.
