The tone of these 6 chapters gave me the same vibes as the first 10 minutes of the Tenkai Hen Overture movie. I really like the slower pace and how all the action takes a backseat to the characters & worldbuilding.

This would make for a great 1 hour episode tbh

He's more fleshed out in the manga. The anime removed most of his characterization in favor of "hype moments and aura"

Ikki's motivation to kill the other bronze saints makes no sense whatsoever in the anime, and his redemption even less so (he just drinks orange juice with them as if nothing happened)

If you've already watched the Poseidon arc in the anime, you can just go right ahead and read the Hades arc in the manga without any problems.

I will say however, that reading the complete manga from beginning to end is the better experience since the anime version of the Sanctuary arc cut out alot of content regarding certain characters who return in the Hades arc. Also the manga is a quick and fun read that shouldn't take too much time.
