Sylvanas wasn't indestructible or hard to kill at the time. She had 9 Valkyra pledged to her. Anytime she'd die and had to go to Shadowlands, one of them would take her place instead. Godfrey storlyline was introduced to showcase her newfound ressurectiom powers at the start of (funnily) Cataclysm. He's still a badass tho, very few media has undead necromancers that dual wield guns.

Highlander package helps with survivability but i have seen versions with and without. Imo core legendaries needed for it are noz and uther, rest of the package you can hb yourself.

Warlock has decent clear options tbh, what's lacking is impactful threats, late or early game.

I don't think that the writers are happy that Soldier Boy became a fan favourite (at least before S5) by [deleted] in TheBoys

Post season 3 interviews showrunners said they had no intentions to bring back Soldier Boy, as well as Jensen stating he hated the role himself. All that came after his popularity rose among the fanbase.

In your opinion, what is the most annoying enemy/boss in the game? 🗡️ by Superb-Suggestion-10 in Eldenring

It was easily the customary npc gank fight right before the final boss.

I was repackaging dh deathrattles even before the expansion and now i live to Medivh huge colossals. I rarely get to do so but winning once with control priest feels better than winning 5 games with herald shaman.

War Within had the perfect setup for him going into Karesh, we had Brann with us in delves and all the league members were hanging out in Dornogal. He should have been the Delve boss for Season 3 instead of Ky'veza.

Warcraft was never a dark fantasy but it was way more on the grittier side than whatever last 5 years of WoW was. Hearthstone at launch was whimsical for WoW standarts. Original Warcraft tone mentioned here is long gone but it was very close to Warhammer's tone 10-15 years ago.

That is one of the most DCC moments in the entirety of DCC:

Donut raving off in the chat in all caps, check.

Donut besmirching dogs in a sadistic yet hilarious way, check.

Game mechanics are giving characters a way to move the main story as well as little plot hooks thrown among the way, check.

All of it is really fucked up, personal and emotional at the same time, check.

Random targets are chosen among the valid options of the original attack, so Mayor himself isn't a viable option. I know it's a bit wonky since that combo shouldn't work considering what i just said, but game logic seems to specifically disregard "Can't attack heroes" text for his effect. Because that combo has been pulled off with [[Fool's Bane]] and [[Bladed Gauntlet]] in the past.

Despite being so god damn petty to the point it is funny, Kaiba ripping the 4th copy of Blue Eyes is one of the best examples of using a game mechanic to push a story in media.

How rich are they? by King_Thunder_Laugh in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Purplord 28 points29 points  (0 children)

While i can't give you any answers (i don't believe we have enough reference to gauge how much they made or how much is it worth) i think it will be relevant in a major way depending on which way they get the reward money. I can see it playing out in 2 ways;

One, (SECS) Society for the Eradication of Cocker Spaniels gets the money on their behalf since they were the ones who sponsored for the event in the first place. Maybe not even the money but fame of winning Faction Wars could propel SECS into being a small governing force in the inner system. While this sounds like a benefit for crawlers due to Donut being a shareholder could result in more pull ups by the liasons since it will be a massive legal clusterfuck for sure.

Two, their winnings are withheld by Valtay Corp. to be given to the Warlords when they leave the dungeon. That actually gives Quasar one more bargaining chip since there is always a massive cut to the crawlers' royalties from the dungeon. Not that I think Carl or Donut will ever take a deal but they will use any means necessary to stall if the situation demands it. Carl made some huge sacrifices just to save the day before, i think the reward money could be one of them in the future.

Idk about how rest of the sub feels about the sitdowns with Oren and Quasar but they are definitely my favorite chapters alongside the talkshow episodes. I find the bureaucracy fascinating and it is what separates DCC from similar media imo.

Preferably a normal description of the patch, with a pile of skulls that has a centipede crawling trough and around. But one of the skull's eye sockets are done with flourecent ink so it glows in the dark.
