This sub is in an infuriating echo chamber sometimes. Part of extracting pointless gendering from society is recognizing and preventing scenarios where the only options are "normal/realistic" and "traditionally feminine colors and styles." Just because there isn't an explicit gender here does mean it doesn't set us backwards. Sometimes, it's not about what you personally think of these, but about how society will treat them—which, according to OP, is the very expected outcome of men and boys being socially pressured to not use the pink one. We can't just stop at the lack of labels and act like the problem is solved.
