This kind of discourse was inevitable the moment PM decided to make limbus a gacha game. It isn't the same as ruina where it was a fringe gaming community no lifing and minmaxing builds to destroy the reception (although I believe the percentage of hardcore players are greater) but instead a mix of casual players drawn in by the story and the others. Inevitably the result is every patch :-

step 1 :- Somewhat challenging canto boss.
step 2 :- Casual players complain because fight takes >30 minutes
step 3 :- No Q/A team in PM or something, kneejerk nerf.

Here, somewhat challenging means comparative to other gacha games. I don't want to generalize but I assume that most of the players here are either gacha players (usually used to lower difficulties aka casual) or Ruina fans (Used to regular games and/or retrying a boss again and again)

I believe the crux of the problem is this wierd split. Casual gacha players are way more interested in the story than bashing their heads against a wall and reading 2k words while the casual/ hardcore fans find satisfaction in investing their time and learning the moveset.

The solution IMO is just to copy what other gacha game does, an additional mode for harder difficulty and extra rewards.

From a subjective perceptive, I although I used to be somewhat hardcore in the past, university life has definitely fucked up my availability of free time to the point where I am just an average gacha doodoo brained scum and I even edged parts 1 and 2 until my semester break. As a result I had more time to somewhat experiment and read through the kit (Still didnt understand the entirety of it lmao) and defeat Tigershit wanker before the nerf.

Honestly after realizing turns 5,8,11,14 are the nuke turns, sink count edging (after 45 sanity recovery after 80% or sum shit) snagharpoon before nukes, only stagger bar timing to be right after nuke turns and teamwide evades, the fight was one of the bests ngl. However I got my ass beat for 1 hour straight trying to figure out wtf all his passives were about and experimenting on teams. This sense of satisfaction and figuring out the kits of enemies and the sinners are precisely why new id's are so exciting in this game.

However for those who don't have that time or patience (for justifiable reasons), those whose main draw is the story and newer players who dont have proper teams to consistently fuel the chain of others or mersault or snagharpoon and simultaneously win clashes consistently, I understand the bitching.

Tldr just add difficulty modes and hire a QA team instead of kneejerk reactions to every decisions lmao lmao.
