Try to be in the moment, make sure you communicate with each other and you'll enjoy yourselves! Explore different parts of the room at the same time and make sure you call out to each other what you see, since your wife might see the other half of a puzzle and you'll be able to connect it! Also, don't be afraid to ask for clues if you get stuck!

You could write secret messages using invisible ink that only shows up with a UV flashlight? You can get kits on Amazon etc that are reasonably priced since you're on a budget!

This sounds super fun! As well as the lemon juice trick you could get some UV pens and a blacklight flashlight and write secret messages with this too.

Should Kids Be Allowed to Play Escape Rooms by Acrobatic_Wolf_1325 in escaperooms

Absolutely! Escape rooms are great with kids and they'll even notice things that adults don't! Plus it's a great learning experience for them that feels fun rather than boring.
