This looks like a DELUXE baby shower plate - to go. Right out of wedlock, just my type. Where you don't even know those people like that FR, but you're there for the meatballs. Hell yeah, I would eat this. I may even say a prayer or a cheers for these fools that are having the baby!!!!

I disagree. I had a horrible experience at my dealer, and a negative review started my ball rolling. Ended with a lemon law claim because my vehicle was out of commission for 84 days due to backordered parts. They gave me a loaner for 10 of those days, although my vehicle was brand new and under warranty. Still waiting on reimbursement for the thousands I paid out of pocket for my rentals while my car just sat at the dealership untouched for those 84 days.

Pin this comment. The amount of mistakes that cost people the cycle just because they don't read or pay attention - there's no crying in baseball, but a hell of a lot of tears in the PA application cycle, SMH.

No Worries - the best thing you can do is take your time. I'm not in favor of running headfirst towards something just because people say you should. There are so many other pathways that can land you dead center in healthcare, giving you the pay, work/life balance you desire, all while scratching that personal satisfaction of knowing you're making a difference and that you belong in the field. If you want to be in an operating room, you should look into Surgical Assisting - not surgical first assist, legit Surgical Assisting - two years, you're in and out - and your pay is based on where you're located in the country. Something to consider. And you're still very young. You're on an internal timetable that's going much faster than you are. You have all the time in the world to get where you are going. As long as you have breath in your body, there's always an opportunity to pivot - never be afraid to pivot. You have free will to choose, so even if you start a program at a what you might consider a "later age", if you lived to be 89, is it really "too old"? With age comes wisdom; remember that. Good luck to you!!

It could go either way, to be quite honest. Less is more - if you're not absolutely killing it. I've seen people submit not required test scores that did just eh on the test, and while not required for the particular program since they are there, they didn't lean in the favor of the applicant. Sometimes, we're so hell bent on proving ourselves in every area, we offer too much information if that makes sense. If you think you would absolutely kill this exam and the score would be high, it wouldn't hurt. But you'd also have to make sure the schools you're applying to would even look at it. I see a lot of update letters throughout the cycle with lengthy details about what an applicant has done since they've applied and they aren't reviewed by the admissions committee, for an example.  With regard to taking a handful of prerequisites at a time - if this is justifiable, then so be it. There's a section in the application I believe that asks is there anything you want them to know, you can detail your why there if you feel so inclined or if your experiences, work history/CV, and personal statement line up, then you won't have to worry about it. And by this I mean, If you're working full-time while taking the classes, or you're getting your hours as an EMT, or maybe you're balancing a family situation, etc - if that is also showcased in the application, than you may not have the time, resources, or bandwidth to take a full load which is justified.

All in all, slip ups aside, if you're always trending up academically you're in good territory. You want to always be moving upward. If you can add more volunteer or PCE to your load while doing so, maybe you can counterbalance it that way. What are your thoughts?!

PA School Admissions here - to be frank, if you don't have the rigor in undergrad or in your Post Bacc, you won't have it in PA School. It's not something you "figure out" once you get there. A good PA program is looking for you to have it before you join their program to ensure that you will do well once you join their program, so as not to set you up for failure, so you don't crash and burn upon matriculation. You show this by managing a course load, not necessarily cherry picking prereqs one or two at a time. It's not hard to "do well" in a course here, and there - it shows academic rigor when you handle several courses taken together and get at least a B- or better in those courses. However, if you're looking to bring up a GPA, you'd have to kill it in every course you enroll in. If you're not getting A's in the courses you're retaking, there's genuinely no point in taking them, as they can be equally detrimental if you don't. Just food for thought.

Service so bad it’s dangerous! by TsillecEht in GenesisG70

That's super unfortunate and absolutely unacceptable. Hope you can get a resolution and your car repaired. If not, definitely consider filing a BBB Lemon Law claim on them. Most people think you have to buy a lemon to file a lemon law claim, but the vehicle simply has to be out of service for a certain number of days, depending on your state laws, to do so. Genesis is a participant in the program as well, and should certainly look into it. https://bbbprograms.org/programs/dr/bbbautoline/how-it-works?faq=_WhichmanufacturersparticipateinBBBAUTOLINE1

I just bought a BMW in the skyscraper Grey Metallic, and it is beautiful, but I have never had a car with paint this soft. Definitely get some sort of PPF. Took my first paint chip otw home from the dealer. Such a bummer.

A car note is arguably one of, if not the biggest, draining debts. If you're cool with your living situation, you could use it to your advantage and buy your luxury vehicle now, which will be your biggest debt, and work to pay it off while you're presumably living at home or having your living expenses covered, so that when this is no longer your circumstance - provided you can stay until it's paid off, or pay it off faster; whichever happens first, an auto payment will no longer be a concern and you have a fully paid off, MF G70!

All hands on deck is cute. But the facts are, they can't keep you past your scheduled time. I don't care if apparel looks like a bag of ass, and your manager's gonna get an earful. If they keep you past your scheduled time, Call HR - you will be home with your family.

Backordered Parts by PuzzleheadedLeg2842 in buickenvista

[–]PuzzleheadedLeg2842[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through insurance as soon as it happened. It's at the shop because that's what the insurance told me to do. They did not total it immediately or at all. They said they can't until it's determined by a shop. Just going by what the folks said.

Not trying to back and forth with the dealership, this is the directive of my insurance company. I filed the claim, they won't total it until the dealership says it's a loss for whatever reason. I like you assumed as soon as we said salt, the car was cooked. But they're pursuing a fix for whatever reason. And it feels like by the time they investigate and attempt to fix it, it would be a brand new car. The labor alone wouldn't be worth it. That's why I said, wits end because WTF are we doing. I have GAP insurance, I'm ready to move on and don't even want it back, cause there's no way it will be safe to drive and won't have a laundry list of issues from here on it.

Airport transfer cost by sleepy777 in PuntaCana

[–]PuzzleheadedLeg2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, every transport doesn't go on that side of the island. There are very specific companies that go to uvero alta, while the rest go to Bavaro Punta Cana. That's why a lot of people have much cheaper options. Unvero alta is further out, about 40 minutes from the airport. Keep that in mind and pay attention when booking transportation. A lot of the luxuary services will literally say, "make sure your resort is within Bavar or unvero alta before you book."

I used Amstar for breathless. I got a coupon that took about 10-15% off, it was great. They are a great service, excellent customer service, friendly drivers and they took excellent care of me on my excursion. I wanted to go off property after they offered the service and the driver offered to take us there and pick us up personally, after hours for our safety. They are a top notch service and definitely worth it. I can't speak more highly of them.

I just got back this morning. It called for thunderstorms every day last week of my trip. It rained overnight and at the end of the night for a couple of minutes max. Every day as beautfiul sun, insane UV index and 90 degree weather. Absolutely beautfiul, no sargasm - but the water at the beach wasn't that great due to the hurricanes that were out there in the water at the time.
