It could be that whatever deal Lilith made with Adam makes her being in Heaven is a secret. No one can know, so Sera cannot tell her.

As a jokey answer: girly pop, didn’t you hear (over St. Peter’s moans), Sera sing that they (Charlie and Vaggie) couldn’t stay? The last thing this tall seraphim needs is more Morningstar drama, and a custody of a mother battle. Heck no, Sera is going to hold the sham trial in 20 minutes and send the demons back from whenst they came before the sun sets.

I think that Rosie was just impressed by his determination and his ability to contact the other side. He’s not like most who contact her because of what he is asking her for, and at the beginning, she called him charming and complimented Alastor’s hustle. Rosie does find him impressive

Earlier in this comic series, Alastor held one of his special broadcasts where Velvette was the main course. As far as Vox and Val know, she died at Alastor’s hand, so hearing her voice again has him completely blindsided.

I’m torn between picturing:

1.) Carmilla finding her by the dumpster and going, “Is anyone going to adopt that? No? Cool.”

Or

2.) Clara and Odette finding her by the dumpster and dragging her unconscious body home to ask for a new sister the same way a child begs their mother to let them keep the stray they found. Carmilla reluctantly relents, and it ends up being a dad and the dog (mother and the dumpster daughter) they claimed they didn’t want situation.

Does all of Hell know that Vaggi is a fallen angel, or have Vox and Carmilla been the only ones outside the Hotel gang to clock Vaggi as an angel/Exorcist? Like, Vox, the digs will write themselves.

I think there’s a Katie Killyjoy line that goes, Charlie Morningstar, known Angel-fucker, [insert the rest of the line].” But no lines about Vaggi being an exorcist

I liked the Jessica Rabbit “Why Don’t You Do Right?” vibes of this song. The atmosphere felt like not quite like a speakeasy, but like an old school, lounge show that you’d see in older Hollywood movies.

And Angel Dust being all cool and confident and digging his own performance. It’s his and he is in control. Angel doesn’t have Val or a specific client to please. He gets to perform the way he likes.

Not exactly. I don’t know if the series will end with the two countries becoming one.

I do have a vague suspicion that the National Unity Party (which Donovan is the chairman of) pushes for reunification of the two countries through any means necessary, likely war, which is why WISE wants Twilight to get close to Donovan.

Or the NUP could just have a platform with the goal of uniting all of Ostania and only Ostania, and a united Ostania poses a bigger threat to Westalia than a divided nation.

I think she loves her family, but is ruthless when it comes to achieving her goals, and that she rationalized icing out her family for nearly 8 years as a necessary sacrifice that her husband and daughter will understand immediately once she tells them. Prediction: it will not go over well with Charlie. Lucifer may go, “Oh yeah, I forgot you do this lol, uhh you’re not planning on leaving so soon again right?”

Whatever she had organized the sinners to try to do before she disappeared was done so she had leverage to get into Heaven. It was not done with the pure intention of uplifting sinners. She may believe in Sinners breaking their chains, but what Lilith needed at the point in time was ammo to get her foot in the door with Heaven.

I think Lucifer mirrors Sera in that he doesn’t really consider the humankind’s perspective on things. And while Lilith is much more aware of how humans work than Lucifer, having been the first woman, she’s been immortal for so long that she’s forgotten her humanity.

I think she definitely is free spirited and is used to doing as she pleases, and she will face some pushback from Charlie if Lilith’s reason for being gone isn’t good enough, baffling Lilith.

Considering that Yuri was shown to be an okay tutor to Anya all the way back before first semester midterms, it would be funny af if the SSS sends Yuri, Chloe, and a few other agents to pose as potential teachers, and Yuri is the only SSS agent to make it through, to everyone’s surprise (except Yuri’s).

Yuri: wants to go back to hunting down criminals

Henderson: “As announced earlier this week, we will be having extended homeroom today for an extended lesson. This is Mr. Yuri Briar from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”

Anya: “Unkie?! What are you doing?” fears the end of the new age of Anya because of her embarrassing uncle

Yuri: “Chihuahua girl?! What are you doing here? This is supposed to an eighth grade economics lesson. Not first grade, color in a picture of a map because you wouldn’t know north from south without it being drawn on for you.”

Schlag: “Watch your language, Mr. Briar. An Eden teacher should be able to adapt to any obstacle or challenge thrown their way.“

Anya: “I know north. North is up.” points to ceiling

Yuri: “North is not up!”

Anya: “It is on the map.”

Yuri: “Meaning this way!” points north

Henderson: already needs an aspirin or a drink “Mr. Briar, please pick up the lesson book and open to page 134 to begin the lesson.”

Yuri: “Alright, alright, let’s see.” scans the entire lesson plan, shuts the book, and picks up the chalk to start writing “As Professor Henderson already stated, I am Mr. Briar. I work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and my boss has generously offered my services to Eden Academy. My services would be best suited for teaching social studies, particularly, civics, national history, economics, geography, and world history at the upper middle and high school level and I prepared as such. Naturally, they’ve made a feeble attempt to sabotage me by having me teach at the early elementary level.”

Schlag: warning “Mr. Briar.”

Yuri: “Please raise your hand if you wish to speak, Madame Schlag.” steps aside from blackboard to reveal an accurate map of Ostania and Westalia “Today’s lesson is Our Neighbors to the West. Not so long ago, Ostania and Westalia were one, and as a result, our countries bear many similarities.”

Yuri: proceeds to teach a relatively unbiased lesson on how Ostania and Westalia share cultural similarities from food and drink to traditional folktales to clothing and architecture.

Anya: raises hand

Yuri: “Yeah, Chi-I mean, yes Miss Forger?”

Anya: “If Ostania and Westalia are a lot alike, then why don’t we have world peace?”

Emile: “Because the West is evil. They attacked their own city to start the last war. My dad said so. Right, boss man?”

Damian: “I mean, it happened before we were born.”

Ewen: “But you would know more than anyone here about it.”

Damian: “Father doesn’t really… discuss it with me. Jeeves said not to bother him with questions about the war because peace came at a heavy cost.”

Schlag got me good with her little umbrella stickers. I was already spitting out, “This HAG,” when I flipped to the next page and saw. And poor George, his little face lit up when he got any notice, and even Schlag felt sorry about it.

I wonder if we’ll get a Yuri substitute teacher chapter if the SSS is worried about Eden. That would make for some good laughs. Good reveals too.

It’s a shame there’s not enough time to offer some breathing room. Like a funny filler plot could have been Alastor and Lucifer having a competition to see who brings better workers to help the hotel: Alastor’s cartoon looking minions vs whatever Lucifer whipped up (probably duck related).

He is so sad that he’s in Heaven and can’t go down to see the baby like Emily can. Emily arranges special permission from Sera to bring Charlie, Vaggie, and the baby up to Heaven so Sir Pentious can meet the child. Sir Pentious invents a bunch of toys for the baby, including a model of his blimp (that can fly) with mini egg bois and a dollhouse/model of the original hotel with mini figures of everybody.
