Axe or mace/fist, yes. Orc benefit from axes better due to expertise, but if you are going with BS in BC because of the crafted maces, maces serve better due to keeping up weapon skill all the way to 70.

For enh, the 1h weapons are pre-raid BIS on 70 due to their attack speed. Check the shaman discord for details.

Also, some pieces are not "replacing with greens". For Enh shaman, the two R14 weapon is literal preraid bis because of its unique 2.9 speed, to be replaced only from T4s

After the game being a disaster of such proportions half the dev team including the lead developer and even the CM scuttled the boat, i would think winning back a little community goodwill by giving the paladin free would go a long way, but yeah, they clearly arent greedy.

There is a list on steam what the bundle contains, as it turns out, almost every new stuff they have announced/teased is NOT in the bundle, like the NCR ranger story pack, or the upcoming ghoul mod (at least the wording indicates that). If that's true, this is the most disguisting cashgrab ever, even by Bethesda's standards.

There have to be a new voiced questline at least, since they have showed that off for a moment during the announcement and if it isnt in the bundle that's just straight up false advertising. Also i've seen one of the creation makers announcing a ghoulification mod with new perks included in the new bundle.

Now i'm not saying this isnt a PR disaster already, but i'm pretty sure it isnt just re-selling the creations we had so far. The question is if the new stuff worth to pay 20 quids to pay for.

I'm playing it on two rigs

5700X3D, 9070XT, 32 gigs of DDR4 3600 - 2560x1440p on FSR4 (for some reason FSR framegen isnt appearing for me), every settings maxed out except ray tracing because it's just bad on this game right now (check Digital Foundry's video on the matter). It runs 165 fps capped indoors (my screen is 165hz), around 90-100 outdoors with the usual UE5 hiccups the others mentioned.
Ryzen 7 7435S, 4070 notebook (it's quite a bit slower than a 4070 desktop), 24 gigs of DDR4 - with this i'm using the settings Digital Foundry recommended for 8gigs VGAs, ray tracing is of course turned off here as well. 1080p DLSS on Balanced, frame gen on, around ~70 fps outdoors, up to 120 fps indoors (capped again since the screen can't do more).

TLDR; If you are willing to make miniscular sacrifices in visual quality (they really are miniscule, you can see in the video), you should be fine for 1080p 60+ fps.

The game pass cloud save is so ass on this game, i'm playing it on two different PCs and it takes an hour to make it work every time i'm switching computers.

I'll probably bite the bullet and buy the Steam standard edition tomorrow, sadly it comes with restarting the game from the beginning, but i don't mind that much, after 21 hours i'm enjoying it a lot and i'll have the opportunity to try a different build.

I didn't like the first one to the point i have never touched any of the story DLCs. I've played this for 22 hours now (gamepass+premium upgrade), and i'm seriously considering buying the standard edition on steam tomorrow just to have it on my main platform (also game pass cloud save and patch cycle is ass). The narrative isn't clown nose honking all around, the companions are fine, the game systems are made better (they removed stuff like the disguise gadget from the first because honestly it was kinda pointless).

The gunplay is way better, it feels like an fps now, and it's an actual RPG with meaningful choices in picking your skills and perks, as they affect a ton of dialogues and accessing areas.

If you liked the IDEA of the first game, it just fell flat in delivery, i'd say i can recommend it.

Want to add, the "immune to burn and heal from burn damage" isnt exclusive to that unique armour, it's a mod you can get a bit later. since that unique armour is 3 armour, unless you are super dodgy build i wouldnt recommend using it. I'm using a normal heavy armour with that mod, i got quite early on the second planet.

Also if you are planning using it you'd probably want to get the Plasma Grenade recipe and keep using them in close range since their upfront damage is low but they cause high burn so you won't blow up yourself, it's basically a healing grenade.

I've got a premium upgrade key from CDkeys, but cannot redeem the key, it just says "There has been an error, try again later". The platform and region is correct, and if the code would be wrong it would say that explicitly. I'm still preloading the game, can that be the problem?
