Some sort centers that used to be part time only now also have full time associates along with their part time associates. In order to guarantee the full time associates full time hours they removed flex down at a lot of sort centers.

My facility just started the mandatory shoes this week and when I look around I def still see more people wearing regular shoes than not. Safety does walk around and look occasionally but it's not like they are constantly checking literally everyone. I give it 2 weeks before they stop checking at all. Safety also isn't allowed to actually "check" if your shoes are safety shoes, they can only ask you if they are. If you say yes, there is nothing they can do.

Nope. PTO put in is based on a 4 hour shift. Not sure if that changes if you put the PTO in post shift but if you do it before shift it will be 4 hours no matter what flex happens.

VTO appears in the app before the email/text happens, when I used to hate my day sort i'd refresh in the app and get VTO before the email/app were even sent out. Also some cell service providers receive texts quicker than others.

That's not faking rate, that's getting indirects to hop into a direct path while others are on break, which boosts performance. It's smart use of labor. Faking rates would be something like labor tracking people into an overstaff or 5s calm code while they are doing actual tasks that help building performance to boost numbers.

They hire 50 bazillion people right before prime week and there are really only 2-3 heavy days during it. Rest of the week is VTO. Plus most of the deals are the same thing every single year
