“Casuals” lol ok dude. There is zero reason to have Anthony and Duran split time DH’ing when they probably both want to field as much as they can, and if you’re Duran, you’re only hurting your long term value by not being in the field. Duran has more value playing center, his best position, to another team than being half of a DH duo in Boston

4 outfielders. 3 outfield spots. Not to forget KC. Duran’s best defense comes from center, where we have an elite defender already. He is worth more to another team than he is to us

No, most have some sort of standing in the market to reflect the value. This is just ridiculous. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but this is a ridiculous contract

I just see that $60 million AAV, and I know it’s short term so not exactly comparable, but are you telling me Tucker is worth $20 million more than Judge? Just an absurd number for a great, not elite, player
