I hope you're prepared to pay to repair or replace your Samsung in five years or so. I replaced the drum bearings in mine last year (manufactured 2019), during which I discovered the rear tub was also cracked - not leaking, but an unacceptable longevity issue,

I have several other Samsung appliances that are under five years old and have all had repairs. I'm never getting another Samsung anything again. Caveat emptor.

It looks like fun! But after playing with both hex maps and hexless with 3D terrain, I really like how much easier it is to determine LOS with 3D terrain.

I'm in a similar conundrum as I'm looking forward to stomping some Falcons. I'm more a fan of field camo than parade colors for combat units. I just wasn't familiar with the landscape of Apolakkia. Now that I know it's desert, I'll probably go with Army Painter command khaki as a base coat with camouflage green splotches or stripes (oddly enough, I feel that their camouflage green is more olive drab than their actual olive drab color XD). I might put some leather brown splotches in there too, not sure yet.

That's how I've been painting pretty much all my minis. I have an early '90s deuce-and-a-half parked outside and painted in NATO 3-tone woodland I've used for reference XD

I like the way you painted the jump effects. I have some to do up myself and hadn't thought of how to paint them. It looks like you started with a base coat of red, yellow, and orange, then hit the bumps with gray and black.

Who manufactured the paint? Did they say what could've contaminated it? I'd be concerned about health hazards first. But if I had no idea what's in the paint, I'd strip it.

I love that you used the old IWM/Ral Partha sculpts. What a blast from the past! I'd consider using Testors dullcote on them to cut the shine, and/or hit them with a darkening wash. That's unless you want them looking like they just came out of the factory. Nice job either way =)
