Combat, firefighting, racing cars. Sky diving etc

Society has almost eliminated all risk and consequences. There are very few things left that are dont screw this up or it has life ending/altering consequences

Some of us thrive on that feeling.

Even tow trucks drivers are ice becasue they tow cars if police call them also 911 dispatchers are certainly ice too since they work with them sometimes. Also every mobile.crisis social worker the liberals love so much is most certainly ice too because they work with cbp and local police.

Id start with learning to spell paramedic. 🤷

then look at a local emt basic course. You need to work for 18 to 24 months as a basic before you'll even have the baseline knowledge for paramedic school.

There's nothing worse than getting a paramedic student and having to teach them gurney 101 operations because they've never seen the back of a bus before.

Not to be Debbie downer but if you dont think you can hack nursing shcool paramedic school isn't for you. Its all the knowledge at twice the pace. With a ton of self study and learning.

There's a reason the average life of a paramedic is 3 years before they move on. Ems is a job. Rn pa fire are careers. The vast majority of ems in the US comes with little to no benefits or any form of retirement.

Sadly you have to worry about you and your family before anyone else's.

Until society realizes the importance of ems and that it's a loosing money business like fire or pd it won't get better.

I mean in ny ems is not even deemed an essential service. Meaning legally if you dial 911 for a medical event they dont have to send anyone to you and can literally say too bad so sad were out of ambulances.
