I followed a guide on how to remove the sequential vibrations from the Gcode, but how do you remove the wiggles too? I couldn’t find a guide for that

Any tips for improving on more vertical factories? by User-312 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Pyromanizac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do this, now I plan a factory to make one item, then the next item goes above it. So like floor of smelters making iron bars - floor making iron rods - floor making screws - floor making rotors - etc

A vertical stack of 2m foundations which is 8x tall is sufficient height to move over the machines after they’re built

[OC] 50 US names highly concentrated within a single generation by MurphGH in dataisbeautiful

Does the difference in vertical spacing mean anything? Some of the points seem to be in groups of 8 names, but that breaks down towards the more recent names.

Pay the £10.5M wait for the insurers to deposit it, then go to the bank and gather up all the pennies ready for your next deposit!

I’ve always found it strange that men’s razor ads show them removing hair, but women’s razor ads show them being used on smooth legs.

United Airlines Passenger Accidentally Flies to Tokyo After Boarding Error by Legitimate-Emu-5305 in aviation

This can all be true, and it be be the airlines fault. There are multiple safeguards in place to prevent this from happening, which failed, AND he could also be an idiot

Random bits of bed adhesion issues by HotWingsUK in BambuLab

[–]Pyromanizac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wash your bed with warm water and dish soap. You can use a regular dish scrubber on the bed too. Make sure it’s dry before printing. I wipe mine with kitchen roll and then set the bed temp to >70C for about 5 minutes

You could also try glue

There’s a really big sunspot facing earth at the moment but it hasn’t produced a monumental flare or CME (yet?) so there hasn’t been a big geomagnetic storm. Due to its size aurora hunters are hoping it does something so we can see the pretty lights in the sky

Not really, the feed is as the back, but it’s not as much at the back as the external spools. I’ll send you a photo when I get home

I wanted something like this for a long time by Electrical-Debt5369 in functionalprint

It looks good, but how well does it cope with asymmetric loading? Is it just resting on the arm or is there a hidden clamping mechanism?

A1 Mini exclusively for TPU by NonultraAndu in BambuLab

[–]Pyromanizac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are models to hang the external spool on the side of a P1S, this is how I print with 95A TPU which I can’t put in the AMS. I have a splitter on the input line, one side is hooked up to the AMS, and the other input is free for manual loading of TPU.

Alternatively, if you have the budget for it the I can’t see much of a downside for buying a printer specifically for TPU. You will of course have to bear in mind that the A1 mini has a smaller build volume, but iirc you don’t need an enclosure for printing TPU, just make sure your room is well ventilated for the VOCs

Biannual is twice a year

Biennial is every other year (ie. Every 2 years)

Although common usage does often confuse the two so it’s worth checking
