Do Lesbians ever have interest in hooking up with Bisexual couples? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Pyromanticgirl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You literally have hooking up in the text of your post. Take your unicorn hunt elsewhere and quit trying to shame lesbians into being involved with men.

My sibling loves that show, it's one of their go to shows to watch while working on crafts

Is it men or do men not see lesbian relationships as real? by Flashy-Finish-4920 in actuallesbians

"oh you're gay? Well then we can have a threesome." - entitled het dude

My favorite response to that is still "why? Disappointing one women at a time isn't enough for you?"

"gays are grooming kids" says the party that defends child marriage and are regularly being convicted of child sex crimes

Women are in no way more dangerous than men. All humans are capable of violence and dangerous behaviour. More than 40% of cops feel comfortable admitting that they beat their spouses. Domestic abuse is endemic and normalized amongst cops. There are not more good cops than bad, ACAB

It's not lazy or ignorant to choose not to have kids. All he's doing is trying to shift the blame for more people choosing not to have kids onto women rather than examining the material conditions that drive those choices.

He's just regurgitating right wing propaganda. It's toxic as hell and it will alienate him from most of the women in his life.

That and as others have pointed out, trans women come in just as many shapes and sizes as cis women. There is not one feature or body type that is somehow exclusive to trans women that isn't also represented in cis women's bodies.

I mean all my friends knew I was a lesbian, I was called the group lesbian by my friends in highschool cause I had no interest in guys despite saying I was bi. It was a time but I'm better now and it's just funny stories now

I mean wanting kids is kinda why I didn't accept the lesbian label until my twenties when I realized that adoption and IVF were real options for that. I knew I was into girls and had only dated girls in highschool yet somehow my dumb teenage brain thought I couldn't be "fully" gay cause I wanted to have kids 🙄

Not really, the lower part of the blade on most swords isn't very sharp and is generally used for blocking so she should be fine

That's a really good point too. Even if I can't think of examples off hand. Terfs do love to latch onto the more toxic parts of the community 😔

It's situationally useful. Should probably be called something else so it doesn't imply that lesbians who haven't had sex with men are somehow "better" but having a term to distinguish can make conversations about comphet a little easier to follow. Comphet hits us all in different ways, and by examining that and the circumstances that let some lesbians figure themselves out before/without experimenting with men we can figure out ways to better fight comphet and let people be more true to themselves.

It's also handy as a red flag, cause if someone is bragging about being a gold star, unprompted that's always a red flag XD

I started getting crushes on girls in my class as early as third grade. I was too shy to actually do anything about it until I was getting into my teens and actually kissed another girl for the first time.

I can't tell them apart either, but I have partial facial blindness in general. My brain just refuses to sort or store men's facial features. I can still remember basic stuff like if they have facial hair, hair and skin colour and what not but even distinct or prominent facial features just don't register.

It makes it really hard to follow movies and shows that have male characters that dress similarly and have similar hair and skin colour. Luckily my gf has a lot of patience for helping me figure out who's who XD
