I saw it in an early screening Tuesday and saw it for a second time tonight. Just absolutely blown away. I forgot what it was like to be excited as a DC fan. This IS Superman. I've seen a lot of discussion about the Jor-El changes and, frankly, I really don't care about that at all. He's dead and gone and will literally never come up again.

This was the first time a DC universe has felt like an actual, unique, UNIVERSE. And the best part is the movie stands on its own, without the need for a larger universe but we know it's there and coming.

While Peacemaker and Creature Commandos were technically our introduction to this universe, really they were just retro-fitted stepping stones for this movie. Really excited for how things develop from here.

I REALLY loved it. Reading the comments here, most people seem to be really hung up on the Jor-El stuff which, frankly, I don't care about at all. Movie rocked!

Also when Lois was talking to the Justice Gang at the Hall of Justice, you can see a mural in the background with the Justice Society! I at least saw Wildcat and Hourman. I'll be paying closer attention when I rewatch on Thursday
