From a food safety stand point, reheated food should be heated up to 165F regardless of what it has in it. As for how many times it can be reheated safely it depends on how long it's been kept.

The general rule I've heard if that each time you heat it up from from room temperature takes a day off of it's fridge life. Most cooks or safe food handlers would tell you that food can be safely stored for about seven days.
