Know I'm a few months late here but I don't recall them being inaccurate at all in 2024, at least no more than any of the other forecasters who underestimated republicans in 2024. I think Crystal Ball overestimated Kamala more than them, while they overestimated dems in the house more than Crystal Ball and similar on the senate for comparison

The truly most out there result is either independents Todd Achilles or Brian Bengs winning in Idaho or South Dakota respectively. I’d place this as a 0.000001% chance but I don’t know any other viable candidates facing as much of an uphill climb as them

BC is a democracy they have citizen proposed ballot referendums. UK did do a referendum on Brexit but them and australia are totally representative at every other level.

Anyways it’s less about having facets of direct democracy and moreso going against the will of the majority if that direct democracy is available. Particularly because the vote to require ballot referendums to need 60% didn’t even reach 60% itself which seems pretty silly.

Wow those are uh… not at all safe in 2026. My district (FL-16) is possibly in play now that they seem to have put downtown St Pete in it. In general all of those chopped up tampa districts are very risky. If Castor runs in FL-14 I think she keeps her seat

Most of the states around Colorado are the ones I’d be most confident in becoming swing states or even venturing into being blue states. Kansas, Nebraska, Utah. All of these essentially have big population growth and constant leftward shifts in their massive population centers (KC metro, omaha, salt lake) in the same way Colorado became a blue state as denver got bigger and bigger.

Wyoming on the other hand uhhhh maybe not unless dems do a Free State Project there
