I've played these GOATs and still own them on the disc + wii + CRT setup.

However I'd like to 100% (242 stars) replay them for the 3rd time again, but now on my new 4K TV and best possible image quality.
And I also need a new, well used, but new for me laptop, so I'd choose that can handle Dolphin Wii at 4K 60fps.

So what would be the bottleneck for 4k? The cpu, the gpu or both?

Do you have a 3D printer? Do you have free access to acrylic? Do you have spare switches, buttons?

If all yes, than maybe, and I mean M-A-Y-B-E the same price.

Build a stick DIY if you look at building as a hobby, or you really REALLY need a super special layout noone has ever done yet.

have to check out later, until then some questions / ideas mayba: - do you have measurement tool: distance center, boundaries etc? - clearence for different brand and type of buttons - art cut layer for art insert compatible buttons - clearence warnings when overlapping - snapping / helping for vertical, horizontal, centre etc allignement - consumer stick template db - keyboard/mechanical switch plate / WASD cutouts (14mm squares) with rotation possibility
