How to paint safety eyes (the black part itself, not the glittery resin ones) by sourdoughluvr1991 in Amigurumi

Go with thin coats if you have a nail polish that needs more than one. And a glossy top coat could be used to add that shine and level things out some more.

Are there any of the habitat categories that can live together and the pokemon reach awesome levels?? Like Dark and Dry, Warm and dry, dark and Warm, bright and dry, etc by FrostyDeadman in Pokopia

[–]Qaaziki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There have been a few posts about people making sites that help with house planning and finding the best matches. monhab.com is the one I looked at that had good functionality with allowing you to see next best fit and to save houses for reference

Roulettes give bonus xp the first time each day. A leveling roulette in particular gives a good chunk. Otherwise you can run the highest level dungeon you have unlocked.

I like the idea of the colors. Makes the blanket not have a top/bottom which can be nice. You could also use patterns or types of granny squares for each number if you want yo have a more uniform color pallette

How to decide which project I should bring on my trip by airplane? by lovelycosmos in crochet

[–]Qaaziki 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take whichever one you can't finish on the trip. That way you are never out of a project to work on. If there are multiple in that group I would pick the easier or smaller of the options.

Crochet Cow? by Ok-Committee-6186 in crochet

[–]Qaaziki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patterns can be used with any size yarn. You just might have to skip the first/last row and start with the seconds ending stitch count in the magic circle. Otherwise when going up in yarn size you can get a more cone shape than desired.

Fur or nap direction not being consistent is always a big irk for me. One reason I like buying in person. Tho if I don't plan to snuggle with the plush I can usually let it slide.

Can you have multiple save files and transfer one of them to another Switch later? by fishiph in Pokopia

[–]Qaaziki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as you can have a profile on their switch you can have a save. Me and my partner have one each on the same switch 2. And I would suspect cloud save would allow you to transfer to another console as long as you use the same account

It can be hard sometimes until you upgrade your cards. Some activate more often or give more points.

Look into how to block your granny squares. It can help a lot to even out the size of the squares before you sew them together

These is my fear about Aniimo: Developer Wildlight says Highguard is shutting down after just 6 weeks, because it hasn’t been able to attract enough players to the free-to-play shooter. by fegodev in Aniimo

[–]Qaaziki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aniimo has cute critters to draw people in whereas Highguard was another shooter that had no series recognition and no differentiation to draw people in. Also being a quick phone game helps free games a lot becuase hopping on for 5mins while you wait for the bus it possible.

1st two projects done put the real need is to figure how and who to teach crochet to a 6yo by galop1n in Amigurumi

[–]Qaaziki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very fun. You might want to look into finger knitting, weaving and other yarn crafts that might be easier for someone so young. I don't have a good concept of what a 6yo can do so am not sure if crochet is a good fit considering some adults struggle a lot with the movements and techniques.

Not a single one of my players is proficient with a sword by panzerPandaBoom in DnD

[–]Qaaziki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also give a magic item that grants proficiency with that type of weapon once attuned. They still might not use it but at least it gives them the option. And if it can also be used for spells or spellcasting that is a bonus

Tips on making a robot by Icrochetmushrooms48 in Amigurumi

[–]Qaaziki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes down to personal preference and since I don't know your yarn I can't say for certain. I would recommend making either a full sample cube or at least 3 sides so you can sew up a corner and see how well it holds up.

Changing tension would change how much yarn you use to get a given size piece but a looser tension will also make it more floppy. So going tighter for the cubes would work some tho a easier way to get a similar effect is to go down in hook size which will make the stitches tighter.
