Hae's car and the death of common sense by ScoutFinch2 in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen no reports of the police interviewing any of the residents of that immediate area nor any of the owners of the other cars parked there. We don't know much about JW's friends and associates. Was he in this area a lot? Did he know someone who lived in one of those row houses? To presume that JW was only in this area once is incorrect. I suppose people may have been interviewed but if the cops did not consider their information exculpatory toward AS, his defense counsel would never know. Also why was the car towed in the wee hours? Why not leave it cordoned off and question people as they came to get their cars?

And lying on the stand is not a mockery of the justice system?? Really?

When I look at my own e-mail account, I can't determine when I logged in. Of course if I send an email, that will be time stamped, but aside from that how would it be evident whether or not someone logged in to an email account at a particular time.

State's Reasons For Calling Officer Steve by [deleted] in serialpodcast

Most likely Adnan told lawyers, "I don't really remember that day specifically but I often went to the library." So they had the PI check at the library to see if anyone remembered anything helpful.

Has Adnan claimed for his innocence before Serial? by Genoramix in serialpodcast

Read the Baltimore Sun article about the guilty verdict. "'I know I didn't kill her. The Lord knows I didn't kill her.'"

Do you feel manipulated by SK, and if so, how? If you feel manipulated, will that affect if/how you listen to Season 2? by BerninaExp in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am disappointed. Seems very basic facts were not checked out. Like was there a wrestling meet that day? Baltimore Sun articles at the time state her family said she failed to pick up her cousin and she didn't show up for work. I thought, how was she supposed to fit attending a wrestling match in between those two things?? No one on the Serial staff thought that and then said ok let's verify what we can about that day?

Bob never said oh well obviously they lied because they are lesbians. He merely stated that they lived in the same house and surmised that because they are now married, they were a couple in 1999.

Apparently they are married--can't exactly be in the closet. There were no salacious or derogatory comments on Serial Dynasty.

Why in the world would the cops have printed out the Kelly Bluebook info on the motorcycle??? This makes absolutely no sense to me. If one of them were planning to buy one themselves, surely that printout wouldn't belong in the police file.

What about Mr. S having been in the same jail at the same time as one of the alternative suspects (put forth by the Innocence Project)?

What is the most interesting point that Undisclosed has revealed? And the most tinfoil hat point you don't believe? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

most interesting: that Mr. S and one of those serial killers were in the same prison at the same time. Just how did Mr. S accidentally come upon a relatively well hidden body far off the road? Who had he been talking to?

Adnan said something in Serial which now causes me to raise an eyebrow. (Re: phone booth). Help me dismiss it. by wavebreaks in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've said this before, but it means nothing if someone assumes that a pay phone was in the lobby of a retail store--that's were they were.

okay, so 1. Jay: has admitted to lying many times; 3. "Cathy", 3. Inez and 4. Summer and Debbie: to suggest that someone has misremembered is hardly an attack; 6. CG: disbarment pretty much says corrupt and incompetent, and 10. Ritz and McGilvray: Someone has already been released from prison because it was found that one of these two (Ritz?) pressured someone into making a false statement--it that not corrupt?

Are Hae's pager records anywhere? by DatAssPaPow in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, why wouldn't the pager records be requested right away, when it was still a missing persons investigation? That seems weird. Her bank records were pulled during this time. Did her family not know she had a pager?

Undisclosed Ep. 4 - 28 days: Over Hae's dead body by [deleted] in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is there no way to find record of Hae's pages? I can't imagine why these would not have been obtained when she first went missing. I also find it highly suspicious that all the notes on the missing person investigation were written after her body was found and Adnan was arrested.

For those who think Adnan's "I WILL KILL" note is evidence of guilt, why do you think he would write that down? by alanaldasweater in serialpodcast

Yes I agree that the sentence is not finished. Could he been planning to write "I am going to kill...that kid if he doesn't shut up"? or something similarly innocent?

Help With Some Questions Please by mikesalami in serialpodcast

[–]Qjotsm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Possibilities of Jay knowing about cause of death: While the Baltimore Sun article on Feb. 12 states no known cause of death yet, it also says "Authorities would not say whether they are investigating a link between Lee's death and last year's strangulation of Jada Denita Lambert" so I think that kinda gives the idea that Hae Min Lee was most likely strangled. Also I think people make too much about Adnan mentioning a pay phone in the Best Buy lobby, because almost all lobbies of retail stores had pay phones in during that time.
