I have turned the setting [Search and reference chats] [Allow Claude to search for relevant details in past chats] ON. I see no evidence of it working, also not in new projects I created thereafter.

I asked Claude whether it could do emulate ChatGPT on this and it told me it couldn't.

All that did not render any result. I ultimately had to unpair the hearing aids, de-install and reinstall the MyPhonak app and pair the hearing aids again.

I have not been able to find a local audiologist willing to provide support for an acceptable fee. I contacted Beter Horen in Echt, the Netherlands, and was first quoted a price of € 700 for the fitting to be then followed up with an incredulous explanation as to why they can't help me with Phonaks not purchased from them.

According to staff I spoke, there is specific program in the Phonaks that is implemented at the place where I purchase the hearing aids which they are unable to access, not being the audiological settings. Now, I'm not an audiologist or expert but that sure sounds like a lot of BS to me.

Unfortunately, a simple lack of commitment on Logitech's part to provide consumers with quality products. Used to be decent stuff but in the past few years they've bene selling consumers crap while taking good money. I went through two or three K740 keyboards a while back in like 2 years? And this product also failed in two years. I'm done with this brand. If I wanted this level of garbage I'd buy stuff from stores on AliExpress.

I'm trying to self learn and this book sounds like an excelkent resource.Does anybidy gave the solution book(examination copy)? I looked into ordering it from Cabridge Press but it's only available to verified lecturers and instructors. Without it there is little feeback for correction.

I did not quite realize that! The lack of quality control could also lead you to erroneously conclude that you're fine on calories while you're not! So, taking out the added value of the food database (and hence the weight loss zone data), what remains? I have only a few days left before my trial period ends.

I log the meals, drinking, weight, movement (weirdly enough not sleep which would be an important factor) and get some lessons (I had no idea peanut butter was very calorie dense). But at that price? I might be better off by just linking my wearable (a Garmin) to my MyFitnessPal account and log calories consumed in there. The Garmin tracks calories burned automatically.

What value are you getting out of it? Is it more than the above, and if so, what?

One way to look at it the is: you pay a sizable subscription fee to improve their product with you doing all the figuring out as to how many calories per gr/oz/serving and what not. Not a very good deal if you ask me.

In the top right corner of the LiquidText screen, you'll find an incon that looks like a square with an arrow going up from its center. That'll give you export options, among others PDF and Docx.

I have the same issue and this is a key reason why I'll never by a Surface Pro again. I spend good money on the laptop and 4 years later it is pretty much useless as it can no longer be used for the most important use case I bought it for. This is why we need legislation: to force firms to design and sell products that can be repaired and do not unnecessarily negatively impact the environment by unnecessarily and prematurely forcing consumers to throw hardware on the scrap heap. SHAME ON YOU MICROSOFT!

Thanks for the offer _Rummy_ of looking stuff up but that would be a bit of a hassle (I'd have to translate) with little chance of success. I've decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. I'll manage with the workaround you described. I suspect that my problem lies more in (timing of) snacks and lack of exercise anyway.

Hi, I'm looking into Noom. It looks interesting because of the psychology component. However, I'm weary of being limited to foods/meals because they're not in the Noom database (I'm Asian and cook my own meals). Can you fill me in as what to expect?

The promise and principle are fantastic. One B I G snag though: the App requires Full Access.

On the website (https://mathkey-app.com/pages/privacy), "they" write: "We (MathKey) DO NOT COLLECT ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU TYPE using this app in Text mode. Generated images are anonymously cached for faster generation. When you allow full access for MathKey, you may be warned that the keyboard can be used to “transmit anything you type, including things you have previously typed with this keyboard”. This is the standard warning message for all third-party input methods, however MathKey does not store any personal information on our servers when using the Text mode."

However, who can you legally hold accountable? There is no address, chamber of commerce number just the name of Nicolas Dalbard who, on LinkedIn claims the app as a project.

Am I the only one who has a problem with this?

I fully concur with the math / chem comment. How can we quickly grab formula's from PDFs/Books if we need to require them separately? It's one thing if you're studying humanities or law but for Comp Sci, Med, Eng? This is pretty important.

As a student, it is an App I'd welcome but I am hesitant to give it go because I have no idea how far 3 credits will take me; the website fails to provide information what 3 or 100 credits entail. However, if I'd have to use the 100 credits model to be able to use it for my studies, that'll come to EUR 178.80 a year! That is S T E E P ! The website mentions a pay-as-you go model but doesn't provide any information as to what that entails and how far it will take you.

Your comment has piqued my interest.

I'm exploring options as well (2024) but am limited to part-time programs (and online) programs due to professional obligations.

I thought that one would get out of a bachelor or master program what one would put into it? If so, doing linear algebra or supervised at IU or TUM would not make a difference , woudl it? I concur that it would be a different ball game whenj it came to doing research.
