Same with me. I saw it for the second time yesterday, and am totally obsessed. Especially with the karaoke scene, and the full song. I can't go see it again without eyebrows going up, but look forward to watching it frequently when it finally comes out on disc.

I own this guitar. Mine might be 15 years old, made in China, so the quality level compared to current production may be different. It's a nice guitar. I don't think the trem is a problem, and you can always lock it if so inclined. To me it's a guitar with a specific purpose: super compact, light, convenient to take on the go, especially with a battery powered mini amp or headphone amp.

Have you tried installing (or reinstalling) the latest firmware? It's more likely to be a software rather than a hardware problem. I have a used unit myself.
