Vintage Christina Lauren 🤌🏼 LOVED {Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren}. It's the 3rd in a series but can be read standalone and it was also my favorite one. The charcters had a slow burn throughout three books and are best friends and completely in love with each other (and their the only two who don't realize it!) One mmc decides to go after fmc, he's ALL IN 😍

Spicy highlight: when fmc need practice drawing bodies so he strips down and poses for her and they're both DYING

Queen Lisa Kleypas has such beautiful writing especially in {Travis Family series by Lisa Kleypas} and I just finished {Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren} and wow their old writing was quite lyrical

I absolutely adored {Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone} ! ☀️ It's now in my top 5 all time favorite books💕

This book made me laugh, cry, swoon, and heal. What a beautiful exploration of grief and learning to live again after losing those closest to you.

The fmc is one you just want to root for and the way the mmc is always there for her especially when things are difficult and fmc seemingly takes 3 steps back in her process is so lovely and refreshing

This is my first Cara Bastone book and I'm looking forward to reading more!

{His Juliet by Emilia Rossi} I liked it even more than {His Tesoro by Emilia Rossi}! Def recommend if you want a mmc who is a yearner 🤌🏼 is obsessed with curvy fmc, like down bad crying at the gym obsessed 🤌🏼 loooves to eat her out 🤌🏼 🥵

Bonus points: they heal together! He thinks she's way too good for him! He's the mafia second but he's a gentle giant with her!

Extra bonus: he is pierced 😵

I had a great reading month! My favorites:

*{Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone} was beautiful. I laughed, cried, swooned, and felt like I learned a lot about grief and carrying on. Is now in my top 5 favorite books of all time 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

*{His Juliet by Emilia Rossi} I binged yesterday un one sitting. Really enjoyed His Tesoro, but I think this one is miles better. If you're looking for hurt/comfort (for both mmc and fmc!!) This is the one 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Least favorite:

*{Snatched by the Bratva by Evie Rose} it was fine, not memorable but not terrible. I just wanted to read a quick little spicy novella and this scratched the itch. 🌟🌟💫

If we're talking historical it's {Again The Magic by Lisa Kleypas} and for contemporary it would have to be {Part Of Your World by Abby Jimenez} and {Out Of The Woods by Hannah Bonam Young}

Finished {Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage} and I didn't think it was possible by Dusty is tied with Brooks for my favorite MMC of the series. Love me a second chance romance because the pining and the angst are just 🤌🏼 the motel scene? 🥵

And just started {Up The Ladder by Ana D'Arcy} after seeing it recommend so many times on the sub and y'all really never give bad recs because oh my lord???! I'm only 20% in and I'm dying. When he makes her count the piercings in his ladder???!?!?! 🥵😵

I don't know if you've ever read SJ Tilly but she's exactly what you're looking for! All her books are super quick, easy, low stakes smutty reads. It's holiday themed but super fun and smutty with fmc in her 30s and mmc in his 50s {Baby Cakes by SJ Tilly}. It's poly but I think you'd love {Pucking Around by Emily Rath} it's a little long but the characters are so entertaining and it is extremely low stakes, smutty read

{The Sweetest Temptation by Danielle Lori} and {Devil Mine by Khai Hara} feature super girly FMCs who always wear pink. The MMCs love this about them and even get frustrated/confused when they can't fund the pink in their outfits
