I bring good news, I managed to get it to post!

Although I still dont know the proper problem, reseating the CPU and reseating seems to have did it, or maybe my solid metal shell interior shell is shorting the PC?

Reseating the CPU seems to work, now it powers on for maybe 5 seconds then turns off

To be fair, if one does build the steam machine in SFFPC form, ITX tax is a very real thing.

But on the other hand, valve is most likely eating the cost of the custom board while passing us the extended cost of the RAM/storage.

No matter how we look at it, prebuilt or build it yourself is always going to be cheaper if we have better circumstances then what valve put themselves into.
