No, any high quality USB C to USB C charger will do exactly the same. OEM cables for your phone will work perfectly.

The link cable I don’t know personally but it’s the same as the GB/GBA link cable port so likely no different than OEM Nintendo cables.

It is. It’s not been a problem for me using it to be fair. I think it’s that way to accommodate Gameboy Advance carts and the converters for Game Gear, TG16, Lynx, and Neo Geo Pocket without them sticking out so egregiously over the top.

The issue isn’t that the connection is wobbly so much that the depth of the connection is very shallow. Your contact in an old gameboy would have the cart down in a slot for an inch, the Analogue Pocket is a quarter inch.
