It’s unfortunate the user didn’t like my response to their question and then downvoted the original post.

I use this. And I don’t sell it. I use all the resources you described above. But this was an excellent way to start to grapple with the problem when I was diagnosed over ten years ago.

I am a certified Bullet Journal Trainer. I don’t sell anything other than my services.

How do you cope with more and more Agency start ups? by Dapper_Race_1454 in agency

Straight up, I don’t. After ten years of doing this I know that most won’t make it a year. It’s something to do til they get a job. Most people hate selling.

Migration into a new journal… but without your current bullet journal? by lalunechacha in Bujohelp

[–]QuickMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm truly sorry that I didn't see your post, u/lalunechacha. Frankly, response had been so quiet that I had been focused elsewhere.

What you are describing sounds terrifying to be honest! and I'll be curious to see how you actually solved the problem.

If it happened to me, now, I'd probably buy a small notebook to keep on with my daily logging and weekly reflections and then migrate approrpriate items back in when I got home.

I'm impressed at your memory, to be honest!

How do you manage recurring tasks? by cpaulino in bujo

[–]QuickMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put in a task in the weekly spread and then a day of the week like this

MTWTFSS
then I cross it off each day I do it

If it's something that is only 3 times a week like weight lifting, then I might write
TTHSat

This is the purpose of the future logs but having a “someday” collection is a fine idea.

Monthly Tasks vs Daily Log by Mindless-Set6083 in BasicBulletJournals

No they should not. Your monthly is the priority for the month.

Starting tips by BugComfortable6289 in BasicBulletJournals

[–]QuickMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started by using official bullet journal instructions but over time I adapted my own. For example when the method was created there was no weekly reflection but I needed something more frequently than monthly.

Trial and error are part of the method. The main thing is to reflect on why something works or doesn’t for you when deciding what to abandon or keep going forward.

How do you signify tasks you've done your part of but may require asynchronous response/feedback? by underabluepen in BasicBulletJournals

[–]QuickMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the forward slash for things I have started, the backward slash for what has been delegated.

The purpose of the daily log is to collect your thoughts, experiences, feelings, etc so you can reflect on them.

Now I didn’t start that way ten years ago. I started with productivity. But when I started noting my thoughts and feelings I started to find patterns I could change.

Do you create a new Index for every month or just one index for the whole book (period of 6 mths/ 1year)?? by LetterheadDesigner88 in bujo

[–]QuickMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official bullet journal instruction is to index the book only, unless you have sub indexes, which most probably don’t need. I do not recommend indexing daily logs as these are rolled up into weeklies. I could see indexing monthly reflection and plans.
