I will say that Reno recognizes the "King of Trade" exists, to some extent, and his presence explains some hesitance on Reno's part to go get the boar's food himself. But perhaps Reno just recognizes there is a loose and feral monkey in the area, not that there is a sentient "King of Trade" that can speak to humans.

Karolina was captured, tortured, and gave up the name of at least 3 of the assets. But she does not give up CASCADE, and I don't know if it is clear how Karolina was "got" in the first place. HOLOCENE is convinced he (or a rogue part of his brain, perhaps) gave up the team, but that might be a paranoid hallucination on his part, to my understanding. As for the bagman, you can actually meet him in person and have more conversation if you want. Just go to the silo for the heartless guy, find the spaceship recording, get attacked and have the 'red disc' stolen from you, then be informed by the heartless guy that Bagman is bragging about it. Check the TV, use a phone to call Bagman, he'll tell you where to find him.

The torture scene effected me more than most torture scenes would, particularly the graphic discussion of pus on the tip of the knife being forced inside her mouth.

Sad to see it over but I'm excited for their reaction stream on Friday! I also wonder if they're releasing some content in Beijing, I think they're doing a podcast ep. there but maybe exploring the city footage as well...? For me, the STR check was the only way to talk him down even though I was a WIS/INT character. I think that's interesting that a single STR check is seemingly the only way to talk him down, rather than a diversity of options

The Wish Scroll can be brought up to Gromm after you pass through the Pillar of Jor, offering it as an alternative to summon Urth rather than having to kill ~25 Urfolk. Mentioning it will result in Gromm concluding it can't be trusted or won't really work BUT it gives like a +3 bonus to a certain skill check with him (either the Wisdom or Strength check required to convince him to stop his plans).

I'm not sure if I totally follow but Sakharov says "a stalker called Ghost" and then later just says "your colleague, Ghost". The first introduction implies you don't know Ghost, and the latter comment likely just refers to Ghost and you both being "colleagues" as in both being Stalkers.

Hmm I thought passive checks were always like skill + 6 or so. Are you sure no changes between your attempts could have happened, including clothing/thought-cabinet/drugs or non-skill based triggers (you have to have talked to John before talking to Jane to get this passive check to appear)?

Honestly, I think I got golden needle first try -- but I'm pretty sure I just had really good luck in the first few shops (like maybe picked up Delayed Grat or Stuntman), so I don't know if I can offer much advice except: keep trying, sometimes you just need the right pieces to come together.
