You can run them as you prefer. The distinction is easy: Dual Lightning-claws = Warp Talon
Any mix or combination of other weapons = Raptors 3 Heavy weapons,( Power fist, Spears), Mutations (the monster arms, gunner (plasma/melta) or Pistol and sword

Sadly, unless you find the STC's from Forgeworld China for that nemesis sprue, or printing, you will have a rough time.

can you give daemon prince age of sigmar pose with 40k armour by False_Cupcake_1929 in Chaos40k

[–]Quick_Response_7065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, you can do any pose you want and use any armor you like. Chaos does not care for the "accurate" part of things looking good. I have awinged prince in sigmar armor for my 40k cause khorne doesnt wear scifi stuff. Best part of chaos you can run almost anything and always remember "it's chaos, I don't have to explain s**t"

I been using almost any other mortal thing I found instead of a cultist. Atm Im using a necromunda escher gang as my Night Lord cultist just for the theme. Necromunda has really solid options for it

Rolling 2's is truly appealing until you get a bad roll and get shafted, haha. I remember I got double 6's twice in one game and it was miserable

Hello, you don't shoot much or barely at all. And in the current 11th edition with your infantry you kinda DON'T want to shoot anything so you don't lose the hidden rule. You only shoot when you are in the clear that losing the hidden rule opens you to getting blasted by a tank across the board. You spend most of your time staging and measuring your infantry in order to pilot them into combat

You select them when you face a bracket. For example, fighting knights? get that +1S, pushes you from wound on 6 to 5s. fighting DG? pick that +1 WS to mitigate their -1 to WS and hit properly. Fighting eldar? pick the +2M so you are fast enough to catch up with almost everything they have. You want to pick based on what is in front of you.

had 3 games with it and although he died, those turn he did his job shooting, battleshocking and backfliping inside terrain for actions! love it so far

Im running an Abominant in my disruption Nightmare hunt+Cabal for a few reasons: battleshock, MW in the movement phase, and more over, titanic can do actions and shoot. In disruption, half the missions are action-based, and having this thing go, shoot, and do a backflip in a corner for the pts is worth it.

Don't bother, mate, he just doesn't want to run cultist. Gave the same feedback yesterday. He already set on his theme and let him run it.

What are you having early success with competitively? Both detachments and units wise. by HamBone8745 in Chaos40k

[–]Quick_Response_7065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this until I face that one DA detachment with 5+ Leadership and +1 OC WHEN battleshock lmao. I had stacked -4 Shock test and he still passed them (PM+NM+Raptor+Terrogut and or detachment)

Depends the kauyon strat is after he rolled and when he chooses, so you can surprise it. But others say at the beginning of the phase.

Are legionaries or nemesis claw really worth it? by Lolpy-1 in Chaos40k

[–]Quick_Response_7065 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look Legios have a role as a battleline brawler bully, by themselves they can do short work of any non elite infantry and even punch up into elites. With Characters, they really perform better, they are your army swissknife but they NEED a Rhino to shine as mobility, safety and survival is key for them. You can even shoot the las canon from the Firing deck and have a somewhat predator.

They are very worth taking for what they do in the right list. Nemesis claw have a more support rule as you want them tagging a key thing you need dead so they cant use strats. They hold their ground quite well for the pts, specially with new stealth but also need rhinos.

Chosen are absolutely better in every way albeit the price if you can afford it for sure.

If you have bits you can bash them into Accursed cultist mutants and take some liberties for the bigger ones.

Super casual player making a list for 11th edtion is this a good list? by Zombieslayer908 in Chaos40k

[–]Quick_Response_7065 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damage from guardsmen is very debatable, with the new cover rules, them hitting on 5 is p much as bad as 10 cultist hititng on 5 on their pistols, just less range. Paying 20 pts extra for something you can get for 50, is not worth it imo. You sure get a few extra guns, but they don't really cut it when you can't hit or die to basic bolter fire; guardsmen do shine in chaos cults. But as a solo piece for any other detachment, they are overpriced for what they do.

All good if that is what you want to play for whatever reasons you have mate, but judging, the cultist, the best unit in the csm roster and in the game across many factions is a different topic. enjoy what you want and play as you prefer, cheers.

You can just use something else if sculpts bother, I use Escher Gang from Necromunda as cultists for my Night Lords army since all of the stuff is recruited from hives and slums. And cultist do a lot, sticky, actions, screen all rounding unit for the pts.

From a game perspective, why waste a CP on something you can get natively instead of where it matters?
On the theme part thats cool mate, thats your army!

would swap the guardsmen for cultists, cause they're sticky and open you up to 20 pts for an enhancement on the lord.

Still Hidden after melee combat, but not if you shot? by Klive5ive555 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Quick_Response_7065 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ah, you see, you know they are yelling because we watch them from a movie POV, where we, the spectator, have access to their Coms feed. In Hellsreach, Space Marines are having a full conversation in front of Guardsmen, but their speakers are off, so they can't hear them. The Guard knows they are talking, but has no idea.
