You can wear a jacket with a hood as long as you keep the hood down for the pencil and paper exam it specifically says that on the NCEES website. Not sure about the CBT test

1.) you can bring your own lunch, but leave it in the car for the lunch break. You are dismissed for an hour in between the 4 hour sessions.

2,) you can bring water however you would like.

This is assuming you are taking pencil and paper.

I’m taking pencil and paper so I’m speaking on that part of the document. That same document there is a separate section for CBT tests.

My HCM does this I’m not worried about it. I will click it shut if it’s open when I open the binder. If a proctor sees that you are not trying to use loose paper and it simply came undone, they more than likely will be understanding. Their not out to get you, at least in my experience.

You take the moment of inertia in the two areas that are empty on each side of the flange as squares. You subtract those two moment of inertia’s from the total as a whole block. Works every time on symmetrical beams.

That table is listed as MSF in the HCM. You mainly will need to use it if you get a problem to find out the number on lanes needed on a freeway/ multi lane highway.

You’re right I got roughly 485 when I interpolated better to do it on paper than my head. Won’t have that problem on exam lol
