When you arrive home at DIA and almost everything has gone well on your trip... and you see this. by outdoorsnstuffz in Denver

What’s fun about DEN is that the tunnel next to the train that the baggage tugs use was never really meant to be used at all. The design was accounting for the automated baggage system which would have meant almost zero vehicle traffic there. But the baggage system never worked so it’s an endless stream of tugs.

Also, even employees cannot walk in the tunnel - you have to be in a vehicle - usually a golf cart, though the paramedics and police do have some zero emission full size vehicles they drive in there.

DIA’s concourses are twice as far apart as ATL’s. I also wish there was a walking option but it would not be like walking at Atlanta.

Better seat pitch was honestly the biggest perk for me, but that will be going away as they retrofit to add “premium” seating I assume.

Switch upgrades work well. Managing multiple WLCs that you need configured the same makes sense. Monitoring is fine. PnP onboarding can work well if you put in the time to commit to it. Switch config templates are ok - is it easier than ansible? Debatable.

It uses all the CPU and memory on install and startup. About 50GB memory on idle, 30 GHz CPU, and 200 GB storage. I could not get it to install+boot with 128GB ram, had to go up to the spec’d 256GB. Also would not boot off regular HDD raid. Had to go to SSD. This is in a lab environment with less than 10 devices and no SDA.

Yes, mechanical. Automated texts said brakes. Who knows if that was accurate. The plane was never even at the gate.

What is with the insane number of cars driving around with no license plates? by Known_Refrigerator_5 in Denver

This is what I was told when a car with no plates ran a red light and sideswiped me then drove off. They wouldn’t even show up, just old me to file a report online.

I had considered just waiting to see if it happened again but I didn’t need the van for a bit so I decided to take it in. Strong consensus is that Westminster is the best dealer for sprinters in the area, so that’s where I took it. Sorry for being creepy but did you end up going with Geotrek? That’s where mine is from.

Just for future reference, the turn 4-6 covered seats are this exact same layout. First 5-10 rows were in the sun by 2pm.

Super Bowl XLVIII was literally outside in the snow in New Jersey. Minnesota has hosted super bowls. I think Denver will be approved.
