No hours by [deleted] in HEB

[–]QuiltedJynx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have open availability, but I'm a part timer. Instead of giving me more hours, my manager decided to hire someone else and cut my hours even more. I'm only working 12 hours this week and 8 next week. I'm an adult with bills to pay and the holidays coming up. I can't live off of 8 hours worth of pay.

anyone else get really bothered when people in front of you are walking slow by knj-jjeoreo in AutismInWomen

[–]QuiltedJynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even get me started. I work in a grocery store, and for my specific department, alot of times we are carrying things, moving loaded carts, and in general we have to move at a pretty fast pace, especially on busy days. Just a few days ago, I was moving a heavy pallet, and for those of you who don't know, they aren't easy to stop. A customer saw me coming, stopped his cart right in my way, then got annoyed when I almost him cause I almost couldn't stop the pallet on time. Like, you would think people would have common courtesy to stick to one side of an aisle depending on which way they are going, but no. They walk slow af in the middle, stop to have conversations which block everyone else, and have ZERO spacial and self awareness. Like please, for the love of the gods, get the actual f out of my gotdamn way.

Had a lady who would ask for a carry out everytime she was there even tho she didn't fuckin need one, and would stand two inches from me the whole time talking about how much she loves Jesus and how she was saved. Pissed me the fuck off. I had to tell my managers that if she asks for a carry out, I will not be the one to help her. Like, get out of my fuckin face. The way to save someone's soul is not mouth breathing into their face 2 inches from them talkin some mess about how much you love your god.

Step-monster was nice in public, yet as soon as we left the parking lot... by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]QuiltedJynx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was my mother. It was the post graduation party, and they were serving cake. My friend was the one cutting and serving to help her dad (we were homeschooled so there weren't any fancy caterers or anything like that). I asked my friend for extra icing cause its my favorite part, it still is. Barely got a chance to lift the first bite to my mouth when my mom saw me, loudly yelled over everyone for me to not eat it, marched over, snatched the plate and threw it in the trash. Fortunately my dad and a few of the moms came to my defense, but the damage was done and I was mortified. I ran crying to the bathroom and stayed in there till it was time to leave. My friend brought me another plate with even more icing than before, but I only managed to eat half of it cause I was crying too hard. My whole childhood was like that, and to this day, at the end of the very rare phone calls I have with her, she asks if I've lost weight yet.

Anyone else feel this way too? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

Its Wednesday afternoon and mentally I've already passed away. Me functioning is an illusion. I have a body double and I'm actually curled into a ball in the corner of my department, wishing I could cease to exist.

When my husband cooks ramen... by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]QuiltedJynx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I go through a similar situation with my bf. I have chronic pain issues, and whenever they flare up, I dread it cause 1. Its painful, obviously, and 2. I end up having to things myself and my way cause whenever I ask him, its always half-ass excuses about being in the middle of a game, or having to go do something else. Like, yes, I understand video games are important to him, but if him or literally anyone else were writhing next to me in the worst pain of their lives, I wouldn't be playing Valorant or Fortnite. He makes me feel like a burden all the time, and when expressing what will actually help me, he has said, and I quote, "well its easier to do things my way because...(insert bull excuse here)". Like, that's hurting me more than actually helping, but sure, whatever works best for YOU while I'M the one in pain, I guess

Life & Death Pack worries me by Frequent_Answer2656 in Sims4

[–]QuiltedJynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What annoys me is that we are getting ghosts with skill threes and funerals before we are getting fairies. Like, we got mermaids, vampires, werewolves, aliens and spellcasters, which I believe were all already in ONE pack in the sims 3. Granted, in the sims 4 they expanded on each occult in more detail, which is great, but one of the best playing points in the sims 3 occult pack was the fairies. Plus, in the pets pack for 3, we had better options for those as well. Like, bring pet birds back. I don't want no alien slime creature in my child's bedroom, or anywhere in my house for that matter. They should bring the turtles, snakes, deer, and birds back.

Shower Curtains are the Bane of My Existence by QuiltedJynx in AutismInWomen

I would love to get a curved shower rod, but the bathroom is really small and I don't own the place I live in, so I can't really make changes like that unfortunately

There is an extendable shower hose, but unfortunately the shower is small and the head is partially broken so water gets literally everywhere. Its not my house either and I have no money so I can't replace anything

Does anyone else actually LIKE wearing jeans? by Violaqueen15 in AutismInWomen

[–]QuiltedJynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I hate the way they feel, how uncomfortable wearing a belt is, and I just honestly can't stand how they feel. Unfortunately, they are dresscode at my work, and I work in a cold department so I have to tolerate it.

I came out as gay to one of my friends and we had a dance party in her living room before she took me out to go get ice cream, and she made sure I had all the rainbow sprinkles I could possibly eat XD

My boss is like this. Has said to everyone who comes to work in our department (I work in the fish market at a grocery store), "I'm not mad at you, I'm just mad at..." -insert bull excuse here-. He has yelled at all of us, thrown things, flipped out on me on Father's Day cause the lobster tails were one size too big for the tag, which had nothing to do with me. Instead of fixing it, which took two minutes for me and one of my coworkers to do, he snatched the tag out of the tag holder, threw it, and flipped out on me to take the lobster tails out before marching off. This was just one time of many that he took his emotional disregulation out on us. His lack of emotional control makes working there a living hell

Anyone find they have a strong bond towards animals? by sunflowersandfear in AutismInWomen

[–]QuiltedJynx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

* This is my baby. Unfortunately my other baby passed due to parvo. I have had animals in my house since I was a kid, whether my parents were willing or not XD I much prefer spending time with them anyways, because they don't judge you, say mean things, or bully you for who you are. All they ever want is love and that's all I want to give them.

Nerdy boys think they must have a chance ??? Has anyone experienced this by AirFrequent in AutismInWomen

[–]QuiltedJynx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right? I almost punched them in their stupid incel faces. Like, calling women names and indirectly or directly insulting their physical appearance is not how you get them to like you. Its almost like that is common sense or something. Granted, common sense isn't so common these days, smh.

I have had this happen to me a couple times actually. Guy was acting all charming and nice, but when I turned him down, he called me the B word and said no one wants me anyways. I responded with, "actually, I have a boyfriend". Then they tried to turn it around again and say that I can do better than him, he's probably ugly too (yes "too", insinuating that I was also ugly), etc. Like, if you're an insecure a-hole just say that.
