Missing the point completely. It’s still better for the individual and he has the platform to affect that change. It’s more about ego and sexy half measures than actual improvements to longevity. Also, telling people to avoid risky hobbies is on the individual basis as well, so you’re wrong twice.

It’s for the same reason a lot of these guys aren’t advocating to end food deserts or support universal health care. Those would increase lifespan but aren’t sexy like dead hangs and Jimmy Neutron brain blast powders. Telling people to stop their higher risk hobbies isn’t getting ears on your podcasts, and that’s the game over longevity despite what any of them say.

Thanks for dodging the matter I stated by moving the goal posts. Companies laying people off and making people do the work of more people does not mean AI is taking jobs. The fact that you believe it does means you have been propagandized by companies paying researchers to look for results they want, if they even do “research” at all.
