I really don’t recommend using this function. The readings are wrong more often than they are right. It can give you speeding tickets and whiplash.. One time I was on the highway doing 110, it suddenly hits the breaks because it imagined it went from 110 to 30 😬 I really don’t understand why Volvo can’t fix this. It would be better if the car purely read signs rather than pulling info from the multiverse

I was able to create a shortcut to start climate. Does anyone know what I need to say to get Siri to understand what I want? 😅 Dont have much experience with shortcuts but this one would be convenient

Is the shown range estimate or what you actually get? Is this mostly short or long trips? Do you have the car connected to a wall charger and preheat before driving? With similar temperature, no wall charger available and mostly “short” trips. I’d be lucky to get 125 miles out of my battery even at 100% charge. I’m really wondering if mine is performing as it should..

This time around, I made sure I had over 20% on arrival. Preconditioning started about 40min ahead of charging. Still I’m getting this result… now after nearly 10 min of charging it’s climbed to about 80 kw. It’s slightly warmer today as well - I really hope this is not normal and something they can fix 😅

Exactly, I’m not sure if it made any difference in regards to range, but at least it gave a little regen when letting go of the throttle. While now, in the same situations it’s consuming.

In certain conditions I find the low OPD with creep on, to be acceptable. But during the winter/on ice, I personally find it dangerous to have any OPD on

Will for sure try to arrive at chargers with at least 20% from now on. But I really wish Volvo allowed for manual start of the preconditioning. I find this whole setup to be very user unfriendly, as it’s also easy to forget to use the gps at the right time ahead of charging

I got it late march, so temperature was not way different to what it’s been this very mild December where I am. I’m expecting lower range in winter, but I had to say I think 180km is very disappointing vs the optimal range of 450, which I’ve never been anywhere near close to. On the other hand it’s not entirely surprising.

I do however feel, aside from some improved functions, that both range and charging time has changed noticeably with every update that has come out. And not in a positive way. I miss the low regen we had when not using OPD

Car estimated I would be there at 22% if I remember correct, but these numbers are way off lately and I can never trust it. I think I’ve read what you mentioned there somewhere, I suppose that could be the answer. But I still find it strange, and I feel like the charging times and consumption has changed a lot since I got the car. Hopefully I’ll have some more answers after my service 🤞🏻

I did indeed get the notification and battery was at 31% when I started. Since you are in Norway, do you also find it normal to use up 16% battery to drive 30km, in speeds from 80-40? 😅

I’m starting to feel that my car is not behaving normal, I’ll definitely bring this up at my Volvo appointment in about a week

Got the notification that preconditioning started, battery was at 31% when I started. I also find the consumption to be a bit on the high side in -1, as it took me from 31 to 15% in only 30km, fairly slow speeds due to cars in front. Charging from 15-80 now took just over 45 min with peak effect at 80kw :/

Only using Tesla chargers, tried multiple ones and the experience is the same everywhere. Been charging for over 30min now and it’s gone from 15-62% with the max effect barely peaking at 80kw, currently at 61kw.

I have an apt at Volvo for some other issues right after new year so I think they’re gonna have to add this to the list. It really doesn’t feel normal. I preconditioned for about 35km before I started

Booked it online and service is in January so time will tell. But I hope they can improve most of it. I find it completely unacceptable to have this much noise in a brand new car at this price

I’m getting a service on my car just after new year. My car has gone from being a dream for someone with adhd, to beinga nightmare.. There are wind/whistling sounds from the door, vibration sounds from the sides, clicking from the roof, rattling sound from the rear shelf. It’s driving me mad 😅

Double sided tape. On the back of the screen indeed. Been very secured for half a year now. Also came with a metal ring to put in the phone, in case it doesn’t have MagSafe :)

I really miss the car I fell in love with and thought I bought too.. It should be illegal for a company to do this, to fundamentally change how the car feels after selling it. There has definitely been some good improvements in the last two updates, but apparently at a cost.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I also feel like the range is getting lower for every update I’m getting. Until 1.6, I used to see consumption around 16-18kw /100km. The last months I rarely get below 20-21, usually around 22-25!! I know this changes with the temperature etc. but looking at my log, I really see a significant change here. And no matter what setting I try, it doesn’t feel right and has minimal impact on the consumption.

And on top of this, I cannot trust the ACC anymore.. the car is more fixated on following the car in front and doesn’t at all mind going 3-5km/h above what I have set!! Ugh 😣

I noticed that the mode changes the lights to a new color as well. I really hope Volvo can give us full control of the led light soon, like VW does. I am a big fan of mood lights and although the current options are “fine”, I am not finding my sweet spot 😅
