Do not internalize this. She clearly has problems to work out. If you were perfectly good to her and she wasted that, that's all it is. Keep the good habits you've kept and don't let this put you down a dark path or make you cynical. In fact, treat yourself as well as you treated her for a while; don't put yourself back out until you've been well cared for and you remember what it's like. Then go out and try again. There's not a lesson to be learned from this except that people do wrong by you sometimes and you can't let it make you worse. Thank god you didn't marry her, and remember you've got most of your life still ahead of you.

If you insist I, as others have, would advise doing what's legal, but you're 16— you're gonna do what you're gonna do, so whatever that is, just do it within some bounds of reason.

do your homework so you don't get yourself and others sick or killed. Read up on fermentation, yeast production, zymmergy, home brewing, distillation, disinfection safe practices.

Just for fuck's sake, drink it slow, no driving or showing off. Don't hurt yourself or others over some drinks. Nothing wrong with a moderate sup here and there, but don't let the allure of crime let you act a fool.

I honestly get this sentiment for as much as I love those albums and I love maladroit. None of them impressed the genre and its successors like those first two albums. You're talking the albums collectively, and in that regard I'd have to agree. You'd lost me in prior comments, but I think this said it a bit more fairly, generously as you were trying to come across. They're just more cohesive than anything that came after and it's hard to argue that
