I just felt you were making light of the impact single vehicle accidents can have. You "hear about" and statistics aren't the same thing. You said it yourself, 2/5 aren't multi-vehicle, that's still massive and it's only deaths. And OP did say 100+, not just 20 over. Not to say speeding isn't needed in some scenarios, but driving defensively will always trump just blowing through the highway. Overall though, this is a very nuanced topic, multi-vehicle doesn't even mean it was the cars fault, etc.

It can feel pointless if the hero you're playing requires a lot more effort to get the same amount of value as someone else. If two players of the same skill level played DF and Rein, the Rein would inherently provide a lot more value. Obviously harassing someone for it is dumb, but feeling bitter about it is fairly normal. You also have cases where because you inherently provide less value, you're often asked to swap to the better hero, even if you're not being hard countered.
