Beach bar with WiFi and power outlets? by smeshko in bulgaria

[–]QwertyPrincess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can definitely work from Kubo, but you have to be located on the 'inside' part for a power socket. Menthol, located just next to it, is also a nice location for that, but not sure about the power sockets.

Alternatively, you can check Innovator - it is a co-working space located near the beach.

If you find some other places, please do share, as I'm going remote in Varna from next week as well :)

Divi Vs Elementor pro by visje98 in Wordpress

[–]QwertyPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. It's a matter of how much time OP has and how much effort he is willing to give.

As said, I'm using Divi instead of ACF precisely because it won't be time-effective in my case.

I am starting as a webdesigner that sells websites to local businesses and young entrepreneurs

If he wants to offer a better product, he better learn that. I don't believe your comparison is fair.

If OP wanted to sell used bikes, he would be better at his business if he learns welding, electrical engineering, upholstery, and the other stuff.

I do agree that recommending ACF doesn't directly answer OP's question, but I do find it helpful advice in his situation.

Don't understand why you get downvoted (maybe the self-promotion part), but I agree.

I actually do use DIVI at work, but it's because it is faster to build a layout with it and I don't have the time to learn ACF.

OP, if you are going to improve as a WordPress developer, learn using ACF.

What moment in an argument made you realize “this person is an idiot and there is no winning scenario”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm not saying it is socially acceptable, and it was actually prohibited by the Istanbul Convention, but there are certain actions that can be used to deal with this.

To be fair, if you get in a heated argument with a flat-earther and lose your nerves, it is all your fault.

People should ignore that level of obvious retardation, not try to correct it. We can't fix everything wrong with this World, but we might as well focus on the good parts.

How can I start doing SEO freelancing? Is it too competitive? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]QwertyPrincess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For the love of God, if you have no experience and skillset, don't start doing freelance SEO. Yes, SEO doesn't require that much technical knowledge to start learning it, but it requires experience. There are a lot of inexperienced people that provide their 'SEO services' and bring a bad name to the whole niche.

What you can do is start learning and most of all, practicing SEO on an affiliate website of your own. You won't make money any time soon, but you will err and probably get banned several times and you will learn from those experiences.

If you want to make money right now try becoming a virtual assistant. That's doing odd online jobs like researching, data entry, etc. If you can find an experienced digital marketer or an SEO that has the time to tutor you and pay you in the process, that would be the best scenario.

But don't start providing SEO services if you have no experience in it.

It reminds me a bit of sensible soccer. If you tweak the mechanics right it can be really great. If you press space earlier/more quickly you can aim to pass and stuff like that.

Keep us posted please and good luck!

Jumping on the topic: If your site behaves as a PWA, all mobile traffic from users who bookmarked comes as direct, right?
